A construction machine includes: a swing structure (20); hydraulic and electric motors (25) mechanically coupled to each other; a hydraulic pump (41) that supplies hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic motor; swing control lever (72) that instructs the swing structure to make a swing motion; and a control device (80) that controls at least either a delivery flow rate of the hydraulic pump or an output torque of the electric motor in such a manner that meter-out and meter-in pressures of the hydraulic motor that is run together with the electric motor approach each other when the demanded torque necessary for the swing motion of the swing structure instructed by the swing control lever can be produced by the electric motor alone.
HYBRID VEHICLE POWERTRAIN
Methods and systems for delivering powertrain torque of a hybrid vehicle are disclosed. In one example, torque is supplied to vehicle wheels from a piston engine, an electric machine, and a turbine engine via a planetary gear set. The planetary gear set may be configured with at least one sun gear and two ring gears.
Adjusting timing of actuation commands to account for fixed and variable delays in autonomous driving control of vehicles
Aspects of the disclosure relate to controlling a vehicle in an autonomous driving mode. For instance, a trajectory is identified. The trajectory defines a future desired path for the vehicle and includes a control requirement having a corresponding point in time. A command for achieving the control requirement is generated. A fixed delay value corresponding to a delay caused by transmission of the command to an actuator of the vehicle is generated. A variable delay value corresponding to a delay caused by an amount of time to change a physical state of the actuator to a desired state according to the command is generated. The command is then sent to the actuator based on the fixed delay value, the variable delay value, and so that the actuator causes the vehicle to move according to the command.
Control Method and Apparatus
A control method and apparatus are provided. The method is applied to a vehicle including a first motor and a second motor. The method includes: obtaining reference information, where the reference information includes a driving mode of the vehicle; and controlling, based on the driving mode of the vehicle, the second motor to be turned on or turned off. The motor of the vehicle can be flexibly controlled in different driving modes. This helps improve cost-effectiveness and driving stability of the vehicle.
CHANGE IN TOPOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS AND CONTROL
A mobile agricultural machine receives a topographic map indicative of topographic characteristics of a worksite, wherein the topographic characteristics are based on data collected at or prior to a first time and receiving supplemental data indicative of characteristics relative to the worksite, the supplemental data collected after the first time. A topographic confidence output is generated which is indicative of a confidence level in the topographic characteristics of the worksite as indicated by the topographic map, based on the topographic map and the supplemental data. In some examples, an action signal is generated to control an action based on the topographic confidence output.
