VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, VEHICLE SYSTEM AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
Disclosed is a vehicle control method which comprises the steps of: determining whether or not a squat of a rear end of a vehicle body is equal to or greater than a given level; determining whether or not turning manipulation of a steering device has been made; and, when the turning manipulation of the steering device is determined to have been made, controlling each part of an engine (4) to reduce an output torque of the engine (4), wherein, in response to the determination that the turning manipulation of the steering device has been made, a reduction amount of the output torque of the engine is increased when the squat of the rear end of the vehicle body is equal to or greater than the given level, as compared to when the squat is less than the given level.
Vehicle behavior control device
There is provided a vehicle behavior control device capable of improving responsivity of a vehicle behavior and a linear feeling with respect to a steering wheel operation without causing a driver to experience a strong feeling of intervention of the control and, at the same time, capable of controlling behavior of a vehicle in such a manner as to also improve stability of the vehicle attitude and riding comfort. In a vehicle behavior control device applied to a vehicle 1 having steerable front road wheels 2, the vehicle behavior control device includes a PCM 14 which acquires a steering speed of the vehicle, and increases a pitch angle in such a direction that a front portion of the vehicle dips when the steering speed becomes equal to or greater than a given threshold T.sub.S1 which is greater than zero.
VEHICLE AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING STABILITY AND OCCUPANT COMFORT
The present disclosure relates to autonomous driving vehicles and methods for improving stability and occupant comfort of the same. The vehicle includes: a frame member; a cabin, movable with respect to and independent from the frame member; wheels; at least one suspension between the wheels and frame member; actuation device configured to control at least the orientation of the cabin with respect to the frame member; a perception module comprising perception sensors and algorithm configured to at least identify road boundaries and obstacles in the vicinity of the vehicle; and a planning module configured to plan the motions of the steering means using information from at least the perception module.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE PITCHING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A system and method for controlling a balance of a moving motor vehicle whose pitching motion when overcoming an unevenness of the road is corrected by means of an acceleration and/or a deceleration of the vehicle by a value correlated to a level of unevenness of the road. The level of unevenness is detected by monitoring the road ahead of the moving vehicle and the pitching motion is predictively corrected based on such monitoring.
Apparatus and method for controlling rotation of vehicle in consideration of slip
An apparatus and a method are provided for controlling rotation of a vehicle in consideration of slip. The apparatus includes a radius of curvature setting unit that sets a target radius of curvature of rotation of the vehicle while the vehicle is being driven and a radius of curvature calculation unit that estimates an actual radius of curvature of a traveling vehicle based on forward speed and lateral acceleration of the vehicle. Additionally, a radius of curvature adjustment unit adjusts a yaw direction rotation moment of the vehicle based on a difference between the target radius of curvature set by the radius of curvature setting unit and the estimated radius of curvature estimated by the radius of curvature calculation unit to adjust the radius of curvature of rotation of the vehicle.
VEHICLE SYSTEM
A vehicle system comprises an engine driving a vehicle, a front wheel and a rear wheel, a suspension device with an attachment portion to a vehicle body which is located at a higher level than a center axis of the rear wheel, an electromagnetic coupling to distribute a torque of the engine to the front wheel and the rear wheel, a steering wheel to be operated by a driver, a steering angle sensor to detect a steering angle corresponding to operation of the steering wheel, and a controller to control the engine and the electromagnetic coupling. The controller is configured to control the electromagnetic coupling such that the torque distributed to the rear wheel is decreased in accordance with returning operation of the steering wheel which is detected by the steering angle sensor.

Vehicle having adjustable suspension
A damping control system for a vehicle having a suspension located between a plurality of ground engaging members and a vehicle frame includes at least one adjustable shock absorber having an adjustable damping profile.
