Comfort ride vehicle control system
Various systems and methods for providing a vehicle control system are described herein. A system for managing a vehicle comprises: a vehicle control system of a vehicle having access to a network, including: a communication module to interface with at least one of: a mobile device, the vehicle, and environmental sensors coupled to the vehicle; and a configuration module to identify a mitigation operation to be taken when predetermined factors exist; wherein the vehicle control system is to identify a potential obstacle in a travel route of the vehicle and initiate a mitigation operation at the vehicle.
VEHICLE BEHAVIOR CONTROL DEVICE
There is provided a vehicle behavior control device capable of improving responsivity of a vehicle behavior and a linear feeling with respect to a steering wheel operation without causing a driver to experience a strong feeling of intervention of the control and, at the same time, capable of controlling behavior of a vehicle in such a manner as to also improve stability of the vehicle attitude and riding comfort. In a vehicle behavior control device applied to a vehicle 1 having steerable front road wheels 2, the vehicle behavior control device includes a PCM 14 which acquires a steering speed of the vehicle, and increases a pitch angle in such a direction that a front portion of the vehicle dips when the steering speed becomes equal to or greater than a given threshold T.sub.S1 which is greater than zero.
ACTIVE ROLL CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD
An active roll control apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a first actuator that is disposed adjacent to front wheels or rear wheels and is configured to adjust roll stiffness. A controller operates the first actuator in a reverse phase control manner in a roll angle increasing direction when a vehicle is in a low-friction turning driving state.
Method for controlling driving force of vehicle
A method for controlling driving force of a vehicle in which driving force of the vehicle is controlled by pre-reflecting vertical load information of tires in real time during turning of the vehicle, to solve repeated occurrence of wheel slip and wheel slip control performance degradation due to roll motion, includes determining, by a controller, a basic torque command in real time based on vehicle driving information obtained while driving of the vehicle, obtaining information related to left wheel and right wheel vertical loads in real time based on information collected by the vehicle, determining a torque upper limit from the real-time vertical load information, determining a final torque command limited so as not to exceed the determined torque upper limit from the real-time determined basic torque command, and controlling operation of a driving device in accordance with the determined final torque command.
Vehicle action control device
The control device includes a vehicle required braking force acquisition unit that acquires a vehicle required braking force that is a required value of the braking force applied to the vehicle, and a roll control unit that controls the rolling motion of the vehicle by adjusting a distribution ratio of the braking force with respect to a target wheel including at least one of a rear wheel on an inside during turning and a front wheel on an outside during turning of the vehicle when the braking force is applied to the vehicle according to the vehicle required braking force under a situation where the vehicle is turning.
WHEELED GROUND VEHICLE ROLLOVER PROTECTION CONTROL BY TRAJECTORY LINEARIZATION CONTROL
A rollover prevention and mitigation controller for a vehicle comprising a controller adapted to reduce or reverse lateral force via reduction of the velocity of a vehicle, and manipulation of a steering angle, wherein manipulation of the steering angle reduces or reverses the yaw rate.
Emergency braking system, emergency braking method and semitrailer
The present disclosure provides an emergency braking system, an emergency braking method and a semitrailer, capable of improving the braking effect of the vehicle, thereby achieving improved safety for the vehicle. The system includes: a sensor component configured to collect sensed information on an environment where a semitrailer is located; and a braking controller configured to determine whether there is a risk of collision for the semitrailer based on the sensed information, and if so, calculate a maximum adhesive force that can be provided by a road surface the semitrailer is currently on, determine a first braking pressure corresponding to each wheel based on the maximum adhesive force and axle load information, and transmit to a braking system a first braking instruction carrying the first braking pressure for each wheel.
AUTOMATIC TILTING VEHICLE
An automatic tilting vehicle includes a pair of wheels that are non-steering driving wheels, a braking/driving device, a vehicle tilting device, and a control device, and the control unit calculates a target tilt angle of the vehicle for tilting the vehicle turning inward and controls the vehicle tilting device so that a tilt angle of the vehicle becomes the target tilt angle. The control unit calculates target braking/driving forces of the pair of wheels based on a braking/driving operation of a driver, corrects the target braking/driving forces so that a difference between vertical forces acting on the wheels caused by the braking/driving forces of the pair of wheels is reduced, and controls the braking/driving device such that braking/driving forces of the pair of wheels becomes the corrected target braking/driving forces.
COMFORT RIDE VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM
