Vehicle management system
Provided is a vehicle management system including a plurality of vehicles that execute different functions, and an event information server that transmits event occurrence information. The vehicles execute the same function corresponding to the event occurrence information, when a priority of a function corresponding to the event occurrence information received from the event information server is higher than a priority of a function currently being executed.
VEHICLE MOVING METHOD AND VEHICLE
In a method for moving a vehicle out of a parking area, the vehicle obtains map information of the parking area and determines a current parking space of the vehicle and an exit location of the parking area. The vehicle determines a plurality of target departure routes from the current parking space to the exit location, and identifies blocking vehicles on the target departure routes that blocks it from reaching the exit. The vehicle estimates the preferability of each of the target departure routes based on a number of blocking vehicles on the target departure route and a difficulty level of removing the blocking vehicles from the target departure route. The vehicle then selects from the target departure routes a preferred departure route, and transmits requests to remove the blocking vehicles off the preferred departure route.
DYNAMIC VEHICLE OPERATION
Data from a vehicle subsystem are input to a machine learning program trained to output a plurality of temporal pattern vectors. The temporal pattern vectors are input to an attention-based encoder trained to output a latent feature matrix. Each of the latent feature vectors is assigned to a respective one of a plurality of clusters. Based on the assigned clusters, an operation value is output to a controller of the vehicle subsystem.
AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE TRAVEL
The present disclosure relates to an autonomous vehicle and a method for traveling thereof. A travel situation is determined based on vehicle surroundings information during autonomous driving, a space around the vehicle is classified into a first space, a second space, and a third space based on the vehicle surroundings information, a travel route is created using at least one of the first space, the second space, and/or the third space based on the travel situation, and vehicle travel control is performed along the travel route.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SIGNAL BY VEHICLE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE THEREFOR
Disclosed herein is a method for transmitting a signal by a vehicle in a wireless communication system. The method may include: obtaining information on a predetermined position on a second driving path adjacent to a first driving path based on the vehicle driving on the first driving path; transmitting a first message which includes virtual vehicle information corresponding to the vehicle on the second driving path and reserves the predetermined position on the second driving path; obtaining information on a predetermined position on a third driving path adjacent to the second driving path based on the predetermined position on the second driving path being successfully reserved; and transmitting a second message which includes virtual vehicle information corresponding to the vehicle on the third driving path and reserves the predetermined position on the third driving path.
COOPERATIVE DRIVING METHOD BASED ON DRIVING NEGOTIATION AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME
Disclosed herein are a cooperative driving method based on driving negotiation and an apparatus for the same. The cooperative driving method is performed by a cooperative driving apparatus for cooperative driving based on driving negotiation, and includes determining whether cooperative driving is possible in consideration of a driving mission of a requesting vehicle that requests cooperative driving with neighboring vehicles, when it is determined that cooperative driving is possible, setting a responding vehicle from which cooperative driving is to be requested among the neighboring vehicles, performing driving negotiation between the requesting vehicle and the responding vehicle based on a driving negotiation protocol, and when the driving negotiation is completed, performing cooperative driving by providing driving guidance information for vehicle control to at least one of the requesting vehicle and the responding vehicle.
AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
An autonomous vehicle control device controls an autonomous vehicle provided with a warning sound output device. The autonomous vehicle control device prohibits transition to a traveling mode when an abnormality occurs in the warning sound output device. Before traveling, the autonomous vehicle control device may execute sound output control to cause the warning sound output device to output a warning sound, and determine whether the abnormality occurs based on output data of the warning sound output by the warning sound output device.
INCENTIVE GRANTING SYSTEM AND INCENTIVE GRANTING METHOD
An incentive granting system grants an incentive to CO.sub.2 reduction traveling by a user of the vehicle that directly or indirectly emits CO.sub.2. The incentive granting system includes one or more processors, and is configured to grant a reward point to the user, in the vehicle traveling from a current location to a destination, based on at least one of selection of a traveling route in which a CO.sub.2 emission amount is reduced with respect to a standard traveling route, selection of a traveling mode, and reduction of an actual CO.sub.2 emission amount with respect to a standard CO.sub.2 emission amount.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPERATING AN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
An autonomous vehicle (AV) includes features that allows the AV to comply with applicable regulations and statues for performing safe driving operation. An example method for operating an AV includes receiving, by a computer located in the AV, sensor data that indicates a condition of one or more devices in the AV or of a roadway on which the autonomous vehicle is operating; and causing, by the computer and based on the sensor data, the autonomous vehicle to operate in accordance with a maneuver by sending instructions to one or more devices in the autonomous vehicle, wherein the maneuver is configured to bring the autonomous vehicle to a complete stop. In some embodiments, the maneuver may be selected from a plurality of maneuvers in response to determining an occurrence of a fault condition based on the sensor data.
VEHICULAR ANOMALY DETECTION, REPORTING, AND DYNAMIC RESPONSE
A vehicle may determine that erratic vehicle behavior has been sensed, based on comparison of a sensed vehicle behavioral characteristic at a given location compared to a predefined expected value of the characteristic. The vehicle may further determine whether an environmental anomaly has been detected in association with the given location and classify the sensed erratic behavior based on whether the environmental anomaly was detected. Responsive to classifying the behavior as erratic based on determining no environmental anomaly was detected, the vehicle may report the erratic behavior to a remote server, along with the given location. The remote server may receive a plurality of such reports for a given location and update a classification of the behavior based on data indicated in the plurality of reports.
