ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE UNIT
A rotary electric machine unit includes a rotary electric machine, a case accommodating the rotary electric machine, a power control unit configured to control the rotary electric machine and mounted on the case by directly connecting a unit-side connector provided on a bottom surface of the power control unit to a case-side connector provided on an upper surface of the case; and a sound absorbing member provided between the upper surface of the case and the bottom surface of the power control unit.
Structure body and the manufacturing method
An object of the present invention is to provide a structure body, which allows the obtaining of superior impact performance while suppressing increases in thickness and weight of a plastic plate and reducing cost, and a method for manufacturing that structure body. Provided is a structure body (1) provided with a structure (10) made of a metal or a thermosetting resin, a plastic plate (14) attached to a surface (10a) of the structure (10) with double-sided tape (12), and a non-foamed plastic sheet (A) having a glass transition temperature of 20 C. or lower arranged between the structure (10) and the plastic plate (14). Also provided is a method for manufacturing the structure body (1) that includes arranging the plastic sheet (A) between the structure (10) and the plastic plate (14) when attaching the plastic plate (14) to the surface (10a) of the structure (10) with the double-side tape (12).
Tonneau cover access panel
A tonneau cover access panel assembly connectable to a tonneau cover assembly that eliminates the need for side rails to both locate and tension the top cover. The tension works to seal out environmental elements and holds the tonneau cover and locating bows of the tonneau cover in place. The tonneau cover access panel holds the rear of the tonneau in the closed tension state keeping the tonneau secured and tight until the cover is opened by an operator. The tonneau cover access panel assembly is movable between a closed position and a fully open position, and, is movable between at least a first open position and the closed position for more limiting access to the cargo bed of the vehicle when desired. The tonneau cover access panel assembly also reduces weight and complexity.
Series of mounting supports and mounting support for fastening radiator modules, and method for manufacturing mounting supports
A series of mounting supports, a mounting support for fastening radiator modules and a method for producing mounting supports, in particular for motor vehicles for fastening radiator modules by which the variability of a mounting support with respect to the arrangement of radiator modules can be increased. A series of mounting supports for fastening radiator modules in the front-end structure of motor vehicles relates to mounting supports having a frame which comprises an upper transversal support, two lateral vertical supports and a lower transversal support. At least an upper bearing area and at least a lower bearing area for mounting a radiator module are formed on the frame. Adapter elements for connecting between the mounting support and a radiator module are arranged on the mounting support in the upper bearing area and/or in the lower bearing area, which allow the variable fastening of radiator modules in different relative positions.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL UNIBODY CASTING MACHINE FOR A VEHICLE FRAME AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A multi-directional casting machine for casting a frame of a vehicle is described herein. The casting machine may include a central hub having a cover die portion and a plurality of ejector die portions translatable relative to the cover die portion and configured to meet at the central hub. The plurality of ejector die portions include first and second ejector die portions configured to translate along a first axis and a third ejector die portion configured to translate along a second axis extending substantially perpendicular to the first axis between closed and open positions. The first, second, and third ejector die portions are adjacent a first, second, and third sides, respectively, of the cover die portion in the closed positions and spaced apart from the cover die portion in the open positions. The plurality of ejector die portions form a mold cavity corresponding to a portion of a vehicle frame.
Brake device for vehicle
A brake device may include: a master cylinder including a master piston moved in connection with a pedal, and a master cylinder body having the master piston movably inserted therein and containing fluid of which hydraulic pressure is varied when the master piston is moved; a pedal force generation part housed in the master cylinder body, and restricting a motion of the master piston while interfering with the master piston depending on the motion of the master piston; a braking actuator configured to generate hydraulic pressure; an actuator connection part connecting the braking actuator to a brake mounted on a wheel; and a master connection part connecting the master cylinder to the actuator connection part.
TONNEAU COVER ACCESS PANEL
A tonneau cover access panel assembly connectable to a vehicle that eliminates the need for side rails to both locate and tension a tonneau cover. The assembly also reduces weight and complexity. The assembly incorporates a readily accessible rear latching system that reduces or eliminates interference with the tonneau cover during operation. The assembly also incorporates a tonneau cover tensioning system. The tension seals out environmental elements and holds the tonneau cover and locating bows in place. The assembly holds the tonneau in the closed tension state keeping the tonneau cover secured and tight until the cover is opened by an operator. The assembly is movable between a closed position and a fully open/stowable position and any intermediate positions. The assembly is also movable between at least a first open position and the deployed position for more limiting access to the cargo bed of the vehicle when desired.
Dashboard support for holding an attachment in a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a dashboard support for holding an attachment by means of a connecting element, which has a fastening leg, in a motor vehicle, having: at least one tubular crossmember having a tube wall, in which a plateau-shaped bulge is formed, wherein the plateau-shaped bulge comprises a mounting section for mounting the connecting element, wherein an aperture for receiving the fastening leg is formed in the tube wall adjacent to the mounting section.
Front vehicle-body structure of vehicle
There are provided a hinge pillar extending in a vehicle vertical direction, an apron reinforcement extending forward from the hinge pillar, a connecting member provided below the apron reinforcement and connecting the hinge pillar and the apron reinforcement in a brace shape, a dash panel provided in back of the connecting member and extending in a vehicle width direction, a wheel house provided in front of the dash panel, and an apron rear panel provided on an inward side, in the vehicle width direction, of and closely to the connecting member and connecting a rear portion of the wheel house and the dash panel.
Method of making side step for vehicle
A method of making a side step of a vehicle includes a bracket that is mounted to a vehicle body and an insert main body that bears weight of passengers. The bracket and the insert main body are integrally provided by using a CFT material through insert-molding, and an injection molding resin is coupled to all over the insert main body where the bracket is coupled through insert-molding so as to form a main frame of the side step.
