Motor unit
A motor assembly includes a motor including a rotor including a shaft rotatable about a rotation axis and a stator surrounding the rotor from radially outside, a housing that accommodates the motor, a bearing that is fixed to the housing and rotatably supports the shaft, a resolver including a resolver rotor fixed to the shaft and a resolver stator fixed to the housing, and a contact that has conductivity, is fixed to the housing, and is in contact with a contacted portion at an end portion on one axial side of the shaft. The housing includes an accommodation space in which the contacted portion of the shaft is accommodated. The contact and the resolver are side by side in a direction along a rotation axis in the accommodation space.
DRIVE APPARATUS
A motor has a rotor and a stator surrounding the rotor; a transmission mechanism having gears; a housing having a motor accommodating portion accommodating the motor, and a gear accommodating portion accommodating the transmission mechanism; a fluid stored in the housing; and a flow path through which the fluid flows. The housing has a side wall portion that defines an internal space of the motor accommodating portion and an internal space of the gear accommodating portion. The flow path includes an intra-housing flow path disposed in an internal space of the motor accommodating portion and provided with a feed hole for ejecting a fluid. A bearing holder that supports the shaft of the transmission mechanism via a bearing is provided on a gear facing surface of the side wall portion facing the transmission mechanism. The feed hole faces the bearing via an opening provided in the side wall portion.
In-wheel driving apparatus
The present disclosure relates to an in-wheel driving apparatus, and an in-wheel driving apparatus includes a case having an interior space, a first gear disposed in the interior space to be rotatable about a first rotary shaft, a second gear engaged with the first gear and disposed in the interior space to be rotatable about a second rotary shaft, and a first partition wall including a first area provided along a circumference of the first gear and a second area extending from one end of the first area in a direction that is away from the first rotary shaft, and disposed in the interior space.
ELECTRIC DRIVE UNIT WITH GEAR SHAFT AND ROTOR SHAFT
An electric drive unit and method of assembling the same is disclosed. The electric drive unit includes a rotor having a rotor shaft, and gear shaft, where the rotor shaft is inserted into the gear shaft. The gear shaft is supported by two bearings, while the rotor shaft supported directly at one end by a bearing and at the other by the gear shaft. A wave spring is also disclosed that provides an axial loading to the rotor shaft. Also disclosed is a balancing ring secured to an end of the rotor via a locknut. The balancing ring can be machined in order to balance the rotor. The rotor shaft can be connected to the gear shaft via a spline connection. The rotor shaft can bear against the gear shaft via a pilot journal and pilot bore defined on the rotor shaft and gear shaft respectively.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes: (a) drive wheels; (b) an electric motor serving as a power source for driving the vehicle; (c) a power transmission apparatus configured to transmit a power of the electric motor toward the drive wheels; (d) an electric-insulation-performance determining portion configured to determine an electric insulation performance of an oil supplied to the electric motor and a lubrication required portion of the power transmission apparatus; and (e) a notification portion configured to notify a driver of the vehicle about the electric insulation performance of the oil which is determined by the electric-insulation-performance determining portion.
PORTAL GEAR HUB WITH OIL COOLING LOOP
A portal gear box assembly for an all-terrain vehicle includes: a portal gear box housing a set of gears and linking an axle to an output shaft; a lubricating oil contained in the gear box; and a fluid circulation loop that circulates a cooling fluid to a cooling location outside the gear box. The cooling fluid may be a lubricating oil. The fluid circulation loop may include a pump and/or a filter. The cooling location may pass the fluid through a structure such as a radiator or other cooler. The circulation loop and/or any radiator/cooler, filter, or pump contained therein, may serve a single portal gear box, or may serve two or more portal gear box assemblies.
PORTAL GEAR HUB WITH OIL COOLING LOOP
A portal gear box assembly for an all-terrain vehicle includes: a portal gear box housing a set of gears and linking an axle to an output shaft; a lubricating oil contained in the gear box; and a fluid circulation loop that circulates a cooling fluid to a cooling location outside the gear box. The cooling fluid may be a lubricating oil. The fluid circulation loop may include a pump and/or a filter. The cooling location may pass the fluid through a structure such as a radiator or other cooler. The circulation loop and/or any radiator/cooler, filter, or pump contained therein, may serve a single portal gear box, or may serve two or more portal gear box assemblies.
ELECTRIC DRIVE AXLE WITH LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Methods and systems for an electric drive axle of a vehicle are provided. An electric drive axle system includes, in one example a gear train configured to rotationally attach to an electric motor-generator, the gear train includes an output shaft having a clutch arranged thereon and configured to selectively rotationally couple a gear to the output shaft. The gear train further includes a lubrication channel extending between an output shaft and an axle shaft and including an outlet extending through the output shaft and opening into the clutch.

An electrical drive unit for an electrically at least partially driveable motor vehicle comprises an electrical drive machine and also an output device for transmitting a torque, which is provided by the electrical drive machine, to driven vehicle wheels of a motor vehicle, and also comprising a torque converter, which is arranged in the torque transmission path between a rotor of the electrical drive machine and the output device, for the purpose of matching the torque which is provided by the electrical drive machine to a respective torque requirement.
