The power-drive system comprises: an engine; a plurality of input shafts; a plurality of output shafts; a first clutch device, arranged between the engine and the plurality of input shafts, so that the engine selectively engages with at least one of the plurality of input shafts; a motor power shaft, a motor power shaft first gear linking with a gear-position driving gear in the same direction being freely sleeved on the motor power shaft, and the plurality of output shafts and the motor power shaft linking with a differential of the vehicle; a first motor generator, configured to link with the motor power shaft; and a second motor generator, wherein the second motor generator and the engine are located on an input side of the first clutch device, the plurality of input shafts is located on an output side of the first clutch device, and the second motor generator is configured to carry out stationary power generation using at least part of power of the engine when the vehicle is parked.
THERMOELECTRIC HEAT ENERGY RECOVERY MODULE GENERATOR FOR APPLICATION IN A STIRLING-ELECTRIC HYBRID AUTOMOBILE
A vehicle is provided which includes a Stirling Cycle engine that generates a flow of exhaust gases from the external combustion of a fuel supply. The vehicle is equipped with a thermoelectric generator module which is in fluidic communication with the flow of exhaust gases generated by the Stirling Cycle engine. The thermoelectric generator module includes a thermopile array, and generates electrical energy from the thermal energy in the flow of exhaust gases.
SOLAR POWERED VEHICLE TOPPER UNIT
A solar powered display assembly and related systems and methods are disclosed. A controller is interposed between an electronic display at a housing, an alternative power source external to, but electrically connected to the display assembly at a housing, and a solar energy harvesting device. The controller determines a power requirement for operating the display assembly, determines power available from the solar energy harvesting device, and where the power available from the solar energy harvesting device meets or exceeds the power requirement, sources operational power from the solar energy harvesting device. Where the power available from the solar energy harvesting device falls below the power requirement, the controller sources the power available from the solar energy harvesting device as a portion of the operational power, and sources supplemental power from the alternative power source.
HYBRID VEHICLE
A hybrid vehicle HV is provided with an electric motor MT for generating vehicle drive force, an electrical generator GN for generating electric power to be supplied to the electric motor, a plurality of internal combustion engines EG1, EG2 for driving the generator, the plurality of internal combustion engines differing in output characteristics, and a controller CT configured to select one or more internal combustion engines from the plurality of internal combustion engines so that, when operating the selected one or more internal combustion engines in the respective high efficiency regions thereof, an engine output satisfies a required engine output and an engine operating efficiency is maximum, and to operate the selected one or more internal combustion engines in the respective high efficiency regions thereof.
