The output member is rotatably couplable to the two-speed gearset, which is configured to operate in one of a first gear ratio and a second gear ratio.

A dog clutch interposed between the pinion and the planetaries is movable between a first position wherein torque from the motor is translated through the first planetary and the dog clutch to drive the second driveline at a first drive ratio, and a second position wherein torque from the motor is translated through both planetaries and the dog clutch to drive the second driveline at a second drive ratio.

An electrified fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, a tractive element coupled to the chassis, a pump having (a) an inlet configured to be fluidly coupled to a fluid source and (b) an outlet configured to be fluidly coupled to a fluid output, an electric motor configured to drive the pump to supply fluid received at the inlet from the fluid source to the fluid output, and a controller configured to control the electric motor to vary a speed of the electric motor to achieve a desired pressure of the fluid downstream of the pump while accommodating different inlet pressures of the fluid received at the inlet.

In a hybrid electric vehicle, (a) an engine and a first electric motor are disposed to be rotatable about a first axis, (b) a second electric motor, a reduction mechanism, and a differential gear are disposed to be rotatable about a second axis parallel with the first axis, (c) the second electric motor, a first planetary gear device, a second planetary gear device, and the differential gear are disposed in order from the first electric motor side to the engine side in the direction of the second axis, and (d) a second rotor shaft, a ring gear of the first planetary gear device, and a carrier of the second planetary gear device are respectively coupled to a sun gear of the first planetary gear device, a sun gear of the second planetary gear device, and the differential gear.
