The first drive gear includes a first extension and the second drive gear includes a second extension arranged radially within and axially overlapping the first extension. The drivetrain system includes a system of bearings arranged between the first drive gear and the second drive gear, either drive gear and a stationary component, or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the drivetrain system includes a clutch assembly arranged between the first drive gear and the second drive gear that interfaces to the first drive gear and to the second drive gear. The clutch assembly allows the drive gears to be locked or otherwise engaged to improve torque transfer.

Power transmission device and vehicle

A vehicle includes a motor, a gear mechanism connected downstream of the motor, a box that has a motor chamber that houses the motor, a gear chamber that houses the gear mechanism and lubricating oil, and an exhaust pipe. A first cooling box, in which cooling liquid that cools the motor is introduced, is configured on an outer circumference of the motor. A second cooling box, which is connected so that cooling liquid can circulate between the second cooling box and the first cooling box, is configured on an outer circumference of the box. The motor chamber is arranged at a position spaced further apart from the exhaust pipe than the gear chamber.

Steering column device and manufacturing method for the same

A steering column device includes a metal outer-side cylindrical member, a metal inner-side cylindrical member, and a resin intermediate cylindrical member that is disposed between the outer-side cylindrical member and the inner-side cylindrical member. The intermediate cylindrical member has an oil feed orifice through which the semisolid lubricating oil is guided from an outer circumferential face side to an inner circumferential face side when inserting the intermediate cylindrical member into the outer-side cylindrical member.

In this example, the second gear, the third gear, and the fourth gear have different sizes, the third gear includes an axial extension having at outer surface, and an interior surface of the second gear circumferentially surrounds at least a portion of the outer surface of the axial extension.

Electric wheel assembly with integrated hub motor

An electric wheel assembly with an integrated hub motor includes a tire, a rim, a hub, a planetary reducer, an inner rotor motor, a braking system and a steering knuckle assembly. The inner rotor motor is provided in the rim, and its rotor is hollow and fitted over a motor rotor holder. An end of the motor rotor holder is mounted with a sun gear to transmit power to the planetary reducer, and the other end thereof is mounted with a brake disc. The planetary reducer employs a two-stage planet gear. The planetary reducer further includes a planet carrier integrated with the hub, serving as the reducer's power output end. The hub and the knuckle sleeve pass through the hollow motor rotor holder, and hub bearings are arranged thereamong. The inner rotor motor and the planetary reducer can employ an integrated direct oil cooling technology.

Drive device and vehicle

A gear portion of a drive device is connected to a motor shaft. An oil passage through which oil to cool a motor flows includes a first oil passage, a second oil passage, a third oil passage, and a fourth oil passage. The first oil passage connects a gear accommodation portion and a pump accommodation portion. The second oil passage connects the pump accommodation portion and an oil cooler. The third oil passage connects the oil cooler and the fourth oil passage. The fourth oil passage connects the third oil passage and a motor accommodation portion. Each of the first oil passage, the second oil passage, and the third oil passage is in a first housing portion. The fourth oil passage is in a third housing portion.
