Heat exchanging system

A system for attaching a heat exchanger to a vehicle includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket is secured to the heat exchanger and has a first plate. The first plate includes front and back surfaces. The first plate defines first and second notches on opposing peripheral edges of the first plate. The second bracket is secured to the vehicle. The second bracket has a second plate, a hook, and a clip. The second plate has an outer surface. The hook and the clip extend from opposing edges of the outer surface. The outer surface is configured to engage the front surface of the first plate. The hook and the clip are configured to extend through the first and second notches, respectively, and to engage the back surface of the first plate to secure the second bracket to the first bracket.

Fuel pump cover apparatus

A fuel pump cover apparatus includes a fuel pump assembly configured to be attached to a fuel tank, and a lock ring disposed on the fuel pump assembly configured to fix the fuel pump assembly to the fuel tank and having a plurality of slots. A cover ring is placed over the lock ring and includes a plurality of clipping devices disposed under the cover ring to be attached to the slots of the lock ring, and spring retainers disposed under the cover ring to apply pressure between the cover ring and the fuel pump assembly. A cover is disposed over the cover ring to cover the fuel pump assembly, and a plurality of retaining members is arranged between the cover and the cover ring to removably attach the cover to the cover ring.

PRESSURE RELIEF ASSEMBLY AND A VALVE ASSEMBLY THAT USES THE PRESSURE RELIEF ASSEMBLY

A pressure relief assembly includes a plurality of valve components and a cap configured to house the valve components. The cap includes a ring having a retaining portion. The pressure relief assembly includes a sensor apparatus coupled to the cap via the ring. The sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The valve components operate to relieve pressure when the predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The sensor apparatus includes a retaining portion engaging the retaining portion of the ring. A valve assembly includes a first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly configured to bypass the first valve apparatus. The valve assembly includes a main housing that surrounds the first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly. The main housing defines an aperture in which the cap of the pressure relief assembly is at least partially disposed in the aperture.

Battery carrier with a peripheral frame and adhesive gap set in a defined manner

Battery carrier for an electric motor vehicle, having a trough formed by a base and a peripheral frame coupled to the base, wherein the frame is formed from extruded hollow profiles and a cover is arranged on the frame. In the installation position, the frame has a web protruding in each case in relation to its upper side and/or lower side in such a manner that a defined gap with respect to the base and/or with respect to the cover is produced, with a sealant and/or adhesive being incorporated.

Serviceable actuation system for active grille shutter
11230879 · 2022-01-25 · ·

A serviceable actuation arrangement for an active grille shutter system. The serviceable actuation arrangement includes a linkage connected to all of the vanes of the active grille shutter system. The linkage is connected to an actuator and moves vertically to rotate the vanes between an open position and a closed position. Between the actuator and the linkage are drive arms that are removably connected to the actuator. There is a connector clip that connects the drive arms and the linkage together in a removable manner. The connector clip retains the components together during operation, but provides a quick release so that the actuator can be removed and changed without having to disassemble the vanes from the linkage.

PLUG-IN SHAFT ARRANGEMENT AND HUB-REDUCTION AXLE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

An air circulation system for a motor vehicle front end, having at least one air duct having an air inlet and an air control device. The air control device comprises at least one, in particular lamellar, air control flap which is mounted in pivot bearings and can be pivoted via a drive, in particular an actuator, in order to regulate the passage of air through the air inlet. The air duct comprises a foamed or injection-molded material at least in the region of the air control device, in particular in the region of the air inlet. At least one or a plurality of the pivot bearings is/are accommodated or formed in the foamed material.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY PACK HAVING SEALED COVER
20220266701 · 2022-08-25 ·

Electric vehicle battery pack whose cover is more fully sealed against leakage. The cover is connected to the battery pack frame by fasteners that are affixed to the surface of the cover rather than being fastened through holes therein, or that are sealed to prevent leakage. The cover thus has no, fewer, or sealed holes formed within, and thus has fewer pathways for leakage or infiltration of moisture into the battery pack.
