BAGGAGE DOOR
A door installation clip includes a mounting portion and an engagement portion. The mounting portion is configured for attachment to an exposed edge of an opening in a panel, for example, a sidewall of a vehicle. The engagement portion includes engagement members extending toward the interior of the opening. A frame having an engagement feature may be assembled to the clips and panel by inserting a portion of the frame into the opening such that the engagement feature of the frame engages with an engagement member of the clip.
BATTERY MODULE COVER PROVIDED WITH AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CLIP
A cover for a battery module includes an inner face whereon at least one electrical connection clip is mounted. The clip cooperates electrically with a corresponding measurement terminal of the battery module when the cover is coupled to the battery module.
Ornamental Decorations for the Exterior of a Motor Vehicle
An apparatus for decorating a vehicle with holiday ornaments. The preferred embodiment of the invention is to affix a series of ornaments to the exterior of the vehicle by suction cups inside the vehicle doorjamb on opposite sides, which are not visible from the exterior, and a string or wire connecting both suction cups. The ornaments are affixed to the wire and are preferably magnetic, so that they will remain in place as arranged by the user. The ornaments may be optionally lighted using battery or solar power.
UNIT SUPPORT
A unit support for supporting a drive unit with respect to a motor vehicle includes a crossmember, at least one unit bearing between the crossmember and the drive unit to support the drive unit, and a shape-fitting connection fastening the at least one unit bearing to the crossmember.
Vehicle engine compartment louver carrier with integrated ducting
A carrier for an automobile with integrated active ducting, and a method of making a louver therefor. The carrier includes at least one aperture, and at least one louver rotatably mounted in the aperture. Also attached to the carrier is an actuator, and the actuator is connected to the louver. The actuator is operable for moving the louver between an open position and a closed position such that when the louver is in the open position, air flow passes through the aperture.
Pressure relief assembly and a valve assembly that uses the pressure relief assembly
A pressure relief assembly includes a plurality of valve components and a cap configured to house the valve components. The cap includes a ring having a retaining portion. The pressure relief assembly includes a sensor apparatus coupled to the cap via the ring. The sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The valve components operate to relieve pressure when the predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The sensor apparatus includes a retaining portion engaging the retaining portion of the ring. A valve assembly includes a first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly configured to bypass the first valve apparatus. The valve assembly includes a main housing that surrounds the first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly. The main housing defines an aperture in which the cap of the pressure relief assembly is at least partially disposed in the aperture.
Electric vehicle battery pack having sealed cover
Electric vehicle battery pack whose cover is more fully sealed against leakage. The cover is connected to the battery pack frame by fasteners that are affixed to the surface of the cover rather than being fastened through holes therein, or that are sealed to prevent leakage. The cover thus has no, fewer, or sealed holes formed within, and thus has fewer pathways for leakage or infiltration of moisture into the battery pack.
CASSETTE FOR A DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE CIRCULATION OF AN AIR FLOW OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND SHUTTER FOR SUCH A CASSETTE
A cassette is for a device that controls the circulation of an air flow of a vehicle. The cassette includes a frame and a plurality of mobile shutters arranged on the frame. At least two adjacent shutters are arranged one after the other along a first axis to reversibly and rigidly co-operate with one another, such that a movement exerted on either of the two shutters is transmitted to the other of the shutters.
Fastening construction, exterior vision unit of a motor vehicle and method for assembling or disassembling a fastening construction
The invention proposes a fastening construction comprising a base part fixedly connectable to a vehicle, a locking element, a spring, and a positioning element. The base part comprises a shaft having an axial contact element extending axially. The spring is configured to surround the outer radial surface of the shaft and be compressed axially. The positioning element comprises a first portion configured to engage and position a first axial end of the spring relative to the shaft, and a second portion configured to cooperate with a second contact portion of the locking element in the axial direction. The locking element comprises a first contact portion configured to cooperate with the axial contact element of the shaft, and a second contact portion inclined radially outward and/or inward to transmit a force of the spring acting on the positioning element to bias the locking element against the axial contact element.
