Damping assemblies for a vehicle part to reduce an impact
A damping assembly in a vehicle is provided. The damping assembly comprises a rod; a spring disposed along a lengthwise direction of the rod; and a buffer pad including a connection end coupled to the rod and an external end opposing the connection end and including a buffer surface. The spring is coupled with the rod and configured to be retracted and extended with the rod at the lengthwise direction.
SEGMENTED HEAT SHIELD WITH REDUCED INTERLAYER THERMAL CONDUCTION
A heat shield assembly is disclosed. In various embodiments, the heat shield assembly defines a first circumferential side and a second circumferential side and an inboard end and an outboard end and includes a first layer defining a first surface of the heat shield assembly and having a first tab member disposed proximate the inboard end at the first circumferential side and a second tab member disposed proximate the outboard end at the first circumferential side; and a second layer defining a second surface of the heat shield assembly and having one or more first crimped portions extending along the first circumferential side and configured to engage the first tab member and the second tab member.
MODULAR STEEL WIREGUARD WITH GUSSETS
A wireguard subassembly includes a first circumferential segment defining a proximate end including a ledge at least partially defining a notch; a second circumferential segment defining a distal end disposed adjacent the proximate end of the first circumferential segment; and a gusset member including a tab at least partially disposed in the notch on top of the ledge.
WIREGUARD HAVING INTEGRATED CLEATS
A wireguard subassembly includes a first circumferential segment defining a circumferential direction, a first near end, a first far end, and a first cleat portion disposed circumferentially between the first near end and the first far end; and a second circumferential segment defining a second near end, a second far end, and a second cleat portion disposed circumferentially between the second near end and the second far end. The second cleat portion is circumferentially aligned with the first cleat portion.
Seatbelt pretensioner shield and heat energy dissipator
A lap belt pretensioner for a lap belt configured to secure an occupant of a vehicle seat includes a pyrotechnic device. The pyrotechnic device is configured to generate a force directed to tension the lap belt around the occupant and emit an exhaust gas including particulates at high pressure and high temperature as a byproduct of the generated force. The lap belt pretensioner also includes a housing configured to retain the pyrotechnic device and defining an exhaust passage configured to expel the exhaust gas from the lap belt pretensioner. The lap belt pretensioner additionally includes a shield arranged over the exhaust passage and configured to collect and/or deflect the emitted particulates and dissipate heat energy thereof. A vehicle having the vehicle seat mounted to the vehicle structure and employing the seatbelt system is also provided.
VEHICLE FRAME ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes a subframe, a rocker, a battery cage supported by the rocker, and a battery supported by the battery cage. The assembly includes a reinforcement bolted to the rocker and positioned to be along a load path through the subframe resulting from a vehicle frontal impact.
VEHICLE FRAME MOUNTED HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY ASSEMBLY
A battery assembly may include a tray, a battery pack received within the tray, a cover positioned over the battery pack and a mounting assembly connected to the tray and including at least one bushing configured to establish an interface with a vehicle component.
Working vehicle
A working vehicle includes an engine mounted in a front portion of a travelling vehicle, and a post-processing device configured to purify exhaust gas from the engine. The engine and the post-processing device are covered with a hood. An upper surface side of the hood is inclined to extend diagonally upward from a front side to a rear side. The post-processing device is mounted on an upper side of the engine, and is positioned on a rear and inner side of the inclined upper surface side of the hood.
Power train
A power train includes: an engine including an engine case; a transmission including a transmission case that is fastened to the engine case; an electric motor provided inside the transmission case; and a heat insulator provided between the engine case and the transmission case, and being lower than thermal conductivity of the engine case and thermal conductivity of the transmission case.
UNDERTRAY COMPONENT WITH A SENSOR DEVICE, AND BATTERY ARRANGEMENT WITH SUCH AN UNDERTRAY COMPONENT
An underbody component for a motor vehicle, with a plate element which has a lower side and an upper side; at least one supporting element arranged on the upper side of the plate element, which is intended to support the plate element against a vehicle side structure and to space it apart. The supporting element is also designed as a partition, which divides the area above the plate element into multiple chambers; a sensor device which is intended to detect intrusion of the plate element into at least one of the chambers caused by an external force action on the lower side.
