BATTERY MODULE INCLUDING A WELDLESS BUSBAR HAVING AN INTEGRATED FUSIBLE LINK
A battery module includes a plurality of battery cells each configured to store an electric charge and a busbar interconnecting the plurality of battery cells. Each battery cell has a first end surface including a positive terminal, a second end surface, and a perimeter surface including a negative terminal. The busbar has a layered structure including a plurality of parallel-extending layers. The layers include a first conductive layer positioned on the first end surface and contacting each of the positive terminals of the plurality of battery cells, a second conductive layer positioned between the first and second end surfaces and contacting each of the negative terminals of the plurality of battery cells, and at least one isolating layer positioned between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. The at least one isolating layers holds the battery cells in position in at least a lateral direction.
STRUCTURE FOR REDUCING AMOUNT OF WATER SPLASHED ON VEHICLE ENGINE
A transverse engine adjacent to a drive shaft includes an engine body having a crankshaft, a first pipe connected to the engine body and running such that an engine coolant flows therethrough, and an accessory drive system. The accessory drive system includes an endless outer belt wound between a crankshaft pulley and an alternator drive pulley. A portion of the first pipe forms a water protector located between the drive shaft and the outer belt and overlapping with the outer belt as viewed from the front or rear of the vehicle.
IMAGING DEVICE HAVING HEAT RADIATION STRUCTURE
An imaging device installed inside a windshield of a vehicle, capturing images from ahead of the vehicle is provided. The imaging device includes a housing, a lens, an imaging device and a processing board. The housing includes a first portion, facing the windshield, and a second portion located opposite to the first portion. The first portion has a first outer surface as an outer surface thereof, and the second portion has a second outer surface as an outer surface thereof. The first outer surface has a light reflectance which is larger than a light reflectance of the second outer surface. The processing board is provided in the housing, and the processing circuit is provided on the processing board, facing the second portion only.
FUEL CAP BIB
A fuel cap bib for protecting aluminum fuel tanks from being scratched by hanging fuel caps during fueling is provided. The fuel cap bib is a sheet of petroleum-based fluid resistant, elastic material having a through hole dimensioned and adapted to deformed over an engaged fuel cap and yet snugly bias about the circumferential flanges the fuel cap engages. The fuel cap bib provides a protective surface between the disengaged, hanging fuel cap and the aluminum fuel tank.
Off-road vehicle
A utility vehicle 100 includes a vehicle body frame 1 and a guard panel 20, 220 attached to the vehicle body frame 1 and defining a front portion of a vehicle body 2. The guard panel 20, 220 includes a recessed wall 21 defining a wheel housing 4 that houses a front wheel 3 and an upper wall 25 located above the recessed wall 21, and the upper wall 25 includes a first inclined wall 26 inclined with respect to a vehicle width direction so as to be positioned on the outer side in the vehicle width direction as extending rearward.
Alternative fuel system
An apparatus and a method are provided for an alternative fuel system, comprising a plurality of fuel tank assemblies interconnected with fuel lines; the plurality of fuel tank assemblies comprising a CNG fuel tank and a fuel tank shield; wherein a first and second fuel tank assembly is disposed immediately in front of a rear wheel assembly, and a third fuel tank assembly is disposed immediately behind the rear wheel assembly.
Electromagnetic shielding member
A electromagnetic shielding member whose tubular shape is maintained with a simpler structure. The electromagnetic shielding member includes a pluralities of first and second protrusions that are respectively formed at first and second edges in a circumferential direction of a metal plate member that has been bent into a tubular shape. The plurality of first protrusions are formed, spaced apart in a longitudinal direction, each of the first protrusions having a first wider portion closer to its tip than the first narrower portion. The plurality of second protrusions are formed, spaced apart in the longitudinal direction, each of the second protrusions having a second wider portion closer to its tip than the second narrower portion. The metal plate member is formed into the tubular shape so that the first protrusions and the second protrusions are engaged with each other and are interposed with each other.
SOUND PRODUCTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A sound production device for a vehicle includes: a speaker that causes a diaphragm to vibrate thereby producing sound; and a housing receiving the speaker and having a sound passage through which the sound produced by the speaker passes and a sound emission hole that causes the sound passed through the sound passage to externally emit. Plural resonant chambers having different resonant frequencies are defined in the sound passage, such that the sound passage has a labyrinth structure that is able to prevent a foreign substance form entering the diaphragm from the sound emission hole.
DEVICE AND SNORKEL AIR INTAKE COMPRISING DEVICE
A device for fitting to a vehicular snorkel air intake is provided. The device comprises a shield and at least one arm extending from the shield, wherein the at least one arm is adapted to position the shield in front of an inlet of the snorkel air intake.
VEHICLE AND PROTECTOR STRUCTURE
A vehicle includes a cover, a front protector, and a rear protector. The cover has a cover lowest portion projecting from the bottom of the vehicle body toward an outside of the vehicle by a first distance. The front protector is provided on a front side of the cover in a front-rear direction. The front protector has a front protector lowest portion projecting from the bottom of the vehicle body toward the outside of the vehicle a second distance longer than the first distance. The rear protector is provided on a rear side of the cover in the front-rear direction. The cover is provided between the front protector and the rear protector in the front-rear direction. The rear protector has a rear protector lowest portion projecting from the bottom toward the outside of the vehicle by a third distance longer than the first distance.
