Personnel platform
A personnel platform facilitates maintenance on a loop sorter of a material handling system in a distribution center. The personnel platform includes wheeled axle assemblies, having left and right wheel hub assemblies connected by a lateral support structure, engaged for longitudinal travel to opposing wheel channels of a section bed of the loop sorter that guide a train of material handling carriages. The personnel platform also includes a carrier platform comprising multiple sub-platforms, such that each sub-platform is pivotally attached to an adjacent sub-platform. Further, the personnel platform includes a rail assembly having upright structures and side rail assemblies attached between an adjacent pair of upright structures. Further, the side rail assemblies extend and retract according to changing spacing between the adjacent upright structures as the personnel platform moves along a curved section.
ROBOTIC SERVICE DEVICE AND HANDLING METHOD
A robotic service device for a robotic picking system grid. The robotic service device can be configured for driving to any location on the grid in order to restart malfunctioning robotic load handling devices or to perform maintenance operations or cleaning in situ. Additionally, the service device may be used to rescue robotic load handling devices operational in the picking system. The robotic service device can include a releasable docking mechanism to enable it to dock and latch on to malfunctioning load handling devices. The service device can also be provided with a cleaning device and camera device to enable a condition of a grid and other robotic devices to be monitored.

Inspection System for Amusement Rides Having Tracks
An inspection system for inspecting the track of an amusement ride with at least one rail. A vehicle is provided that is designed to ride along the track. The vehicle supports cameras. The cameras are positioned in unobstructed areas. The cameras image the rail from different angles as the vehicle rides along the track. The images recorded by the cameras are reviewed to identify any defect or issue with the rail or its supporting framework that may impact from the safety of the ride.
Vertical and horizontal movement system
Vertical and horizontal movement system of one or more cabins (20) for the transport of people and things in a elevator shifter plant with portal structure (10) for the overcoming overhead and not, back and forth even automatic, obstacles such as roads, railways, waterways and other obstacles affected by driveways and not, especially for pedestrians, usable either in an overhead manner that underground and also incorporated in large buildings such as hospitals, airports, railway stations and so on, with two or more runaways running horizontally and vertically, in which one or more runways include vertical and horizontal stops and descents placed at different levels to overcome obstacles also passing under the same; operated by rack, wherein the motor is rigidly coupled to the cabin and acts via a pinion gear on the rack, having inclined toothing, to increase the fluidity of the movement reducing vibration and noise.

Service vehicle with drone bases
A service vehicle provides a platform for servicing a container handling vehicle while on a grid-based rail system of a three-dimensional storage grid of an automated storage system for storing storage containers. The service vehicle includes two or more wheel modules. Each module having a first set of wheels configured to move the vehicle along a first lateral direction of the grid-based rail system and a second set of wheels configured to move the vehicle along a second lateral direction of the grid-based rail system. The second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. A platform is mounted on the two or more wheel modules. The platform includes an enclosure that has at least one opening that can be closed by a barrier. The platform has a set of tracks matching the width of the tracks on the grid.
