CHAIRLIFT LOADING APPARATUS FOR THE LOADING OF PERSONS AND ITS ASSOCIATED DETECTION METHOD
The invention refers to a chairlift loading apparatus comprising at least two adjacent timing gates for regulating a flow of persons passing through said timing gates, the loading apparatus comprising a high-risk situation detection system comprising: a detection device capable of determining the presence of a potential person passing through each of the timing gates and determining whether the potential person is taller than a predetermined height; and a data processing unit configured to determine, from the data from the detection device, the existence of a high-risk situation when a person who is shorter than the predetermined height is detected in front of a given gate of the adjacent gates, and no person who is taller than the predetermined height is detected in front of one of the adjacent gates.
Zipline trolley
For A zip line trolley brake system includes a cable suspended between upper and lower support platforms which, together, function with rider harnessing, loading, and take-off with a passive braking trolley allowing a controlled descent and barrel spring system providing addition braking near the end of a cable termination. The zip line trolley positioned atop a cable includes a frame assembled from a pair of parallel side plates, a four-sided rotational brake pad, and a parabolic groove wheel which is sandwiched between side plates, and a lever. A lever from which a rider is suspended, can be pinned anywhere within the trolley's circular toothed slot instilling a brake force for the cable slope. A trolley brake generally square sides are grooved for cables and fabricated from a durable polymeric material is rotatably within affixed side plates. A spring system includes a football-shape springs, spring spacers, bump spring spacer receiver, and a locking inserts designed to fasten the springs and allow the springs to collapse within themselves reducing the compression length. A bump spring spacer receiver makes contact with the zipline trolley further decelerating the suspended rider as contact is made with the springs.
Device and method for supporting and guiding a hauling cable of a vehicle transportation installation by cable
Device for supporting and guiding a hauling cable of a vehicle transportation installation by cable, including a sheave configured for supporting and guiding the hauling cable, a first girder provided with a main axis, a second girder supporting the sheave and mounted pivotally movable around the main axis, at least one recovery element mounted on the first girder, and at least one cooperating element mounted on the second girder at a distance from said at least one recovery element in a normal operating state where the second girder swivels around the main axis, and configured to be in contact with said at least one recovery element in an abnormal operating state corresponding to failure of the main axis.

Stop for a rail
A stop for stopping a trolley on a rail is described. The trolley comprises a set of wheels, including a first wheel and the rail provides, at least in part, a running surface, including a first portion and a second portion thereof, for the first wheel. The stop comprises an actuator providing a third portion of the running surface between the first portion and the second portion and an arm, coupled to the actuator. The stop is arrangeable in a first configuration, wherein the arm is arranged to block the trolley therepast. The stop is arrangeable in a second configuration, wherein the arm is arranged to allow the trolley therepast. The stop is arranged to move from the first configuration to the second configuration by actuation of the actuator, preferably by a movement of the actuator in a direction transverse to the third portion of the running surface.
Vehicle with shock absorption for transporting passengers on a variable slope track and installation comprising said vehicle
The invention relates to a vehicle (1) for transporting people on a sloping track (V) of a cable transport installation, said vehicle comprising a carriage (10) suitable for running on the track (V) while being drawn by at least one traction cable (C1) of the transport installation, a cabin support (120) carried by the carriage (10), an onboard braking device (14) and a shock absorber (13) linked to the onboard braking device and to the cabin support (120), and suitable for transforming the kinetic energy of the cabin support (120) into heat when the cabin support (120) moves relative to the onboard braking device (14) along a shock absorption trajectory in the shock absorption direction, characterized in that the onboard braking device (14) is rigidly connected to the carriage (10) and the vehicle also comprises a slide link (12) between the cabin support (120) and the carriage (10) to guide a movement of the cabin support (120) relative to the carriage (10) along the shock absorption trajectory.
ZIPLINE SPRING SEGMENT
For zipline spring segment, the spring segment includes two spring sub-segments, an end cap, and a guide. The two spring sub-segments each include a set of spring coils, each spring coil set including a large diameter end and a small diameter end, wherein each of the spring coils of the spring segment nests completely within a neighboring spring coil and a cable passes through the spring coils. The end cap is disposed on the large diameter end of the spring coils, the end cap including a hole that receives the cable. The guide connects the two sets of spring coils of the spring sub-segments at the small diameter ends. The guide guides the cable through a center of the spring segment, wherein the guide and the end caps are configured to be in contact upon a full compression of the spring coil segment.
