Continuously moving cableway
10286926 · 2019-05-14 · ·

In a continuously moving cableway installation (9), a haul rope (13b) extends as a closed loop defining a transportation path (12). Suspended vehicles (14) can be connected to the rope by means of automatic coupling devices (24). Along the rope path, passenger stations (10) are provided, each providing ramps (22) to cause the clamping or release of the automatic coupling devices (24), fixed power supply conductors (30), and overhead rails (28). Mounted on board each vehicle (14) are: a motor-driven trolley (20), an electrical contact (30a) to contact one of the power supply conductors (30) in the passenger stations (10), an electric power battery (43), and an electric motor (42) with driving wheels (40) associated thereto, which are suitable for rolling on the overhead rails (28) in order to move the vehicle within and proximate to the passenger stations.

Tow System
20190100416 · 2019-04-04 ·

A portable tow system includes a drive system for removable mounting to a first anchor point, a flywheel system for removable mounting to a second anchor point distal from the first anchor point, and a tow strap for connecting a drive wheel of the drive system to a flywheel of the flywheel system. One or more persons or objects can be removably attached or connected to the tow strap. The drive system includes a motor for causing the drive wheel to rotate, which rotation causes the tow strap to rotate, such that the person(s) or object(s) connected thereto may be pulled from the first anchor point to the second anchor point or vice versa.

Cable car system
10112624 · 2018-10-30 · ·

A cable car system includes vehicles that are clamped to a hauling cable along the route and decoupled from the hauling cable upon entering the stations. The vehicles are moved through the stations by control tires which are coupled to one another by gear mechanisms and driven via a supporting pulley for the hauling cable. The control tires are mounted on a supporting frame on at least one supporting structure. The rotation of the supporting pulley that drives the control tires is derived from the hauling cable by way of a drive belt. The drive belt runs over the supporting pulley, which is mounted on a pivotable rocker, and over at least one control tire. The pivotable rocker is mounted on the supporting structure for the supporting frame, or the pivotable rocker is mounted on a supporting structure to which the supporting frame is not attached.

APPARATUS FOR MOVING A LINE CART ALONG A CABLE
20180287352 · 2018-10-04 ·

A line cart puller is provided for moving a line cart along at least one overhead conductor and past at least one support tower. The line cart puller comprises a workspace defined at least by one or more sidewalls for supporting a payload therein and at least one drive wheel capable of connecting to and disconnected from a first surface of the at least one overhead conductor. A motor of a hand-operated tool is operable to rotate at least one motor power output wherein the motor is located entirely within the workspace, said motor comprising a throttle control, a starter and a motor brake. A transmission system removably connectable to receive power from the motor via the motor power output to provide power to the at least one drive wheel for moving the line cart and the payload along the at least one overhead conductor. The throttle control, starter and motor brake of the motor provide a motor, throttle, starter, and brake for the line cart puller and at least one drive wheel is disconnectable from the at least one overhead conductor to accommodate movement of the line cart past the at least one support tower. A method is further provided for moving a line cart along at least one overhead conductor and past at least one support tower.
