Described is a hinged sliding assembly for a pool cover assembly including a slider member having a rod member and defining an opening, wherein the slider member is coupleable to a pool cover; and a hinged rope lock member coupled to the rod member and positioned at least partially within the opening, wherein the hinged rope lock member is coupleable to a rope of the pool cover.

High speed transportation system
10118629 · 2018-11-06 ·

High speed rail transportation systems are provided for improving transportation costs, speed and convenience for passengers, owners and operators. The high speed rail transportation system may include a high speed propulsion segment assembly, a segment of rails and a load station for transporting vehicles independent from each other and at high speed. In an embodiment, the high speed propulsion segment assembly may include a propulsion cylinder, a free cylinder and a cable assembly movably connected to the propulsion cylinder and the free cylinder.

Cable car system
10112624 · 2018-10-30 · ·

A cable car system includes vehicles that are clamped to a hauling cable along the route and decoupled from the hauling cable upon entering the stations. The vehicles are moved through the stations by control tires which are coupled to one another by gear mechanisms and driven via a supporting pulley for the hauling cable. The control tires are mounted on a supporting frame on at least one supporting structure. The rotation of the supporting pulley that drives the control tires is derived from the hauling cable by way of a drive belt. The drive belt runs over the supporting pulley, which is mounted on a pivotable rocker, and over at least one control tire. The pivotable rocker is mounted on the supporting structure for the supporting frame, or the pivotable rocker is mounted on a supporting structure to which the supporting frame is not attached.

CLAMP
20180304908 · 2018-10-25 · ·

A clamp for a cable-drawn transport device includes clamp jaws having a clamp spine and clamping tongues adjoining the clamp spine. The clamp spine and the clamping tongues form running surfaces for rollers. In the longitudinal direction, the clamping tongues have a substantially S-shaped curved running surface, which merges continuously into the running surface of the clamp spine.

CABLE CAR CARRIAGE

A cable car carriage for transporting goods or passengers has two opposing spaced-apart crawlers. Each of the crawlers has a crawler chain composed of juxtaposed chain links. A support cable can be inserted between the opposing crawlers on the opposing chain links of the crawler chains. A pressing mechanism connects the crawlers with one another, and is designed to adjust the distance between the crawlers as well as the pressing force of the two crawlers relative to each other and/or the pressing force of the two crawlers against the support cable. The crawler chains are driven in a circulating movement by a drive via a crawler running gear, thus moving the cable car carriage along the support cable. A cable crane, a passenger gondola, a cable saddle, and a transport assembly employing the cable car carriage are also disclosed.

A fall protection system that is easy to assemble, up to international safety standards, and allows fluid progression. The system includes an at least engagement hook, an at least one bifurcating plate, an at least one cable tensioning anchor, and an at least one T-shaped anchor plate. The engagement hook includes a C-shaped body, a first stud, and a second stud. The first stud and the second stud are integrated through the C-shaped body, on either side of an interlocking gap of the C-shaped body. The user is attached to the engagement hook by a tether attachment hole of the C-shaped body. The bifurcating plate includes a cross-shaped body and a plurality of third studs. Each of the third studs is integrated through a corresponding leg of the cross-shaped body. The bifurcating plate, the cable tensioning anchor, and the T-shaped anchor plate are tethered by a system of cables.
