METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING TARGET LOCATION OF SINGLE-SLOT COLLIMATING PLATE AND COLLIMATOR ASSEMBLY
A target position determination of a single-slot collimating plate and a collimator assembly are disclosed. A first measurement signal is acquired based upon of the first instance of air scanning, when the single-slot collimating plate moves a predetermined distance from a starting position to a first position in a first direction of the Z axis. A second measurement signal is acquired based upon the second instance of air scanning, when the single-slot collimating plate moves a predetermined distance from the starting position to a second position in the direction opposite to the first direction. A composite measurement signal and a composite air calibration signal are determined based upon the first measurement signal and the second measurement signal. The composite measurement signal is calibrated using the composite air calibration signal. The target position of the single-slot collimating plate is determined based upon the calibrated composite measurement signal.
Tomosynthesis imaging apparatus
Fifteen radiation tubes are arranged in a radiation source of the mammography apparatus. An irradiation field limiter includes a plate-like member having a plurality of through holes that function as irradiation openings. Adjacent through holes are arranged at an interval of one radiation tube. In the plate-like member, the position of the through holes which are irradiation openings are moved to a first set position in a case in which radiation is emitted from first radiation tubes which are some of three or more radiation tubes and a second set position in a case in which the radiation is emitted from second radiation tubes different from the first radiation tubes among the three or more radiation tubes. Therefore, one through hole is shared by two radiation tubes.
SUB-SYSTEM X-RAY SOURCE MODULE

The base unit and application specific module are configured to communicate by wired and/or wireless communication.
Systems and methods for digital x-ray imaging
X-ray detectors for generating digital images are disclosed. An example digital X-ray detector includes: a scintillation screen; a reflector configured to reflect light generated by the scintillation screen; and a digital imaging sensor configured to generate a digital image of the light reflected by the reflector.

Radiological imaging device with improved functioning
A radiological imaging device that includes a source that emits radiation that passes through at least part of a patient, the radiation defining, a central axis of propagation; and a receiving device that receives the radiation and is arranged on the opposite side of the patient with respect to the source. The receiving device includes a first detector to detect radiation when performing at least one of tomography and fluoroscopy, a second detector to detect radiation when performing at least one of radiography and tomography; and a movement apparatus arranged to displace the first and second detectors with respect to the source. The movement apparatus provides a first active configuration in which the radiation hits the first detector and a second active configuration in which the radiation hits the second detector.
