The present invention provides a positioning system comprising at least a portable detector that enables users to continuously know the spatial location of a detector relative to an x-ray source so that it can be more easily aligned, and monitored for maintenance of alignment, with the portable detector within predetermined tolerances during procedures. In preferred embodiments, the invention further comprises a radiation interlock switch to prevent the emission of radiation in the event of the x-ray source and detector not being aligned within a predetermine tolerance.

MOBILE X-RAY MACHINE

An apparatus and a method are provided for positioning an x-ray machine having an x-ray source and a detector. A second X-ray image is recorded once an x-ray apparatus has been positioned by using information of an alignment point in a first x-ray image.

Radiation Therapy Apparatus and Quality Control Method for Radiation Therapy Apparatus

Provided is a radiation therapy apparatus on which quality management is performed. The radiation therapy apparatus includes: a body unit; a gantry coupled to one side of the body unit and formed to be rotatable in at least one direction with regard to the body unit; a radiation irradiating head formed at one side of the gantry to irradiate a radiation; and a level control module formed at one side of the radiation irradiating head to measure a rotation angle of the gantry or the radiation irradiating head, compare the measured rotation angle with a rotation angle indicated by an angle indicator of the radiation therapy apparatus, and correct an error of the angle indicator.

X-ray targeting device

The present invention relates to an X-ray targeting device which includes a frame installed at an X-ray generator of an X-ray imaging device which outputs X-rays toward a patient to be measured, and a light radiation unit installed at the frame, and radiating guide light in accordance with a direction in which the X-rays are output to display a radiated position or radiated range of the X-rays with respect to the patient. According to the present invention, since an X-ray targeting device includes a light radiation unit radiating guide light in accordance with a radiated direction of X-rays, a worker can easily identify the radiated direction or the radiated range of the X-rays, thereby saving time and effort required for X-ray imaging.

The present invention provides a bright, focused visible light source that is part of a visible light alignment assembly that is coupled to an X-ray generator. The visible light source projects a bright, focused visible light beam from the X-ray generator through a collimator and object or part to be radiographed and to a detector or film, just as a subsequent X-ray beam eventually is. This allows the operator to quickly and easily visually assess the eventual position and coverage or spread of the X-ray beam and align the X-ray generator, collimator, object or part to be radiographed, and/or detector or film, with a minimum of test radiographs.
