High-speed magnetic synchronization of wireless detector
10912533 · 2021-02-09 · ·

Mechanisms for synchronizing the read-out sequence of non-tethered digital X-ray detectors in a radiography system with an X-ray generator or an X-ray source for use in digital wireless detectors where a synchronization of the digital wireless detector circuitry with the start of the actual exposure is required. The mechanisms can be applied in X-ray devices that are based on digital flat panel detectors, and wherein the digital detectors do not have a tethered connection with the modality for receiving the activation signal.

Device and method for creating a panoramic x-ray recording using a first semi-transparent x-ray screen and a second semi-transparent x-ray screen

During the generation of a panoramic x-ray recording, the use of semi-transparent x-ray screens allows the patient's x-ray exposure to be reduced when partial x-ray images are created, in spite of relatively large overlapping areas between the partial x-ray images.

With regard to a setting reference for X-ray irradiation range and image generation range, which differs by hospital or technician, a structure to automatically set a desired X-ray irradiation range and an image generation range infallibly, is provided. In an X-ray CT apparatus, a scan range automatic setting unit extracts an inspection target as an arbitrary body part designated by an operator before inspection from a positioning image, and generates an extraction region range including it. The operator sets an arbitrary margin value by line operation or numerical input using a GUI with respect to the extraction region range (S104). The scan range automatic setting unit generates and stores a range setting pattern in which the inspection target and the margin value are made to correspond to each other (S105), and links the range setting pattern to an inspection protocol (S106). Then immediately after positioning-image image sensing (S109), the scan range automatic setting unit extracts the inspection target from the positioning image (S112), and automatically sets a scan range, in accordance with the range setting pattern made to correspond to the inspection target and linked to the inspection protocol (S114).

Scanning digital fluoroscope comprising multiple radiographic image detectors arranged as spokes extending radially outwardly from a central rotational point on a rotational plate
10952691 · 2021-03-23 · ·

A system for taking fluoroscopic images of large animals having a rotatable plate with a plurality of detectors disposed on the rotatable plate, wherein the plurality of detectors are arranged as spokes extending radially outwardly from a central rotational point on the rotatable plate with collimators disposed on the side edges of the spokes. A drive assembly rotates the rotatable plate about an axis extending through the central rotational point at a speed such that the duration of successive image frames corresponds to the time taken for each spoke of detectors to move to the position of an adjacent spoke of detectors.

X-ray diagnostic apparatus and display method

According to an X-ray diagnostic apparatus, an X-ray tube radiates X-rays. An X-ray collimator adjusts an irradiation region of the X-rays. An X-ray detector includes a first detector and a second detector having a smaller detection area than a detection area of the first detector. The X-ray detector is able to detect the X-rays radiated with the first detector and the second detector at the same time. Processing circuitry generates a synthesized image obtained by synthesizing a first X-ray image generated based on an output from the first detector that detected the X-rays radiated in the irradiation region adjusted, and a second X-ray image generated based on an output from the second detector that detected the X-rays radiated in the irradiation region adjusted, the synthesized image having an image size corresponding to an aspect ratio of the irradiation region. The processing circuitry causes a display to display the synthesized image.

Radiation irradiating apparatus

A radiation irradiating apparatus includes: a radiation generator that generates radiation; a collimator that controls an irradiation range of radiation generated in the radiation generator; and a distance assuring portion having an abutting member that abuts on a subject to be irradiated with the radiation, when the radiation generator and the subject approach each other such that a distance therebetween is smaller than a preset distance. The distance assuring portion assures a distance between the radiation generator and the subject. The collimator and the distance assuring portion form an integral structure and are attachable and detachable with respect to the radiation generator.

Multi-axis linear X-ray imaging system

Systems for large animal fluoroscopy having independently positionable X-ray emitter and X-ray detector arms on either side of the animal providing independent movement of the X-ray emitter and X-ray detector in multiple degrees of freedom.

Radiation irradiating apparatus

A radiation irradiating apparatus includes a radiation generator that generates radiation and a switch that controls emission of the radiation from the radiation generator. The radiation generator and the switch are constituted by separate housings. The radiation generator and the switch are attachable and detachable to and from each other via a surface of a portion of each of the housings thereof.
