The compression plate is arranged such that the breast is sandwiched between the breast support and the compression plate. The compression controller is configured to control the breast support to move toward the compression plate so as to compress the breast from below between the breast support and the compression plate.
Methods and apparatus for control of radiographic source exposure
An example remote control for a radiographic source includes: a forward cable section configured to extend into and through a radiographic source housing, to expose a radiographic source to an exterior of the housing, and to retract into and through the radiographic source housing to retract the radiographic source into the radiographic housing; a drive cable section coupled to the forward cable section; and a drive gear configured to extend the forward cable section by driving the drive cable section in a first direction, and to retract the forward cable section by driving the drive cable section in a second direction, wherein the forward cable has a smooth exterior surface to have a lower friction than the drive cable section while traversing the radiographic source housing.
IMAGING SUPPORT APPARATUS, OPERATION METHOD OF IMAGING SUPPORT APPARATUS, AND OPERATION PROGRAM OF IMAGING SUPPORT APPARATUS
A first acquisition unit acquires an optical image in which both an electronic cassette in which a detection panel for detecting radiation is built in a portable housing and a subject facing radiography using the electronic cassette are shown, from a camera. A first demarcation unit demarcates a detection region of the radiation by the detection panel, the detection region being determined in accordance with a position of the electronic cassette, in the optical image. A second demarcation unit demarcates an imaging region which is a region to be imaged in the radiography, the imaging region being determined in accordance with a position of the subject, in the optical image. A display controller performs control of displaying a frame indicating the detection region and a frame indicating the imaging region on a touch panel display in a manner of being superimposed on the optical image.

IMAGING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Versatile, multimode radiographic systems and methods utilize portable energy emitters and radiation-tracking detectors. The x-ray emitter may include a digital camera and, optionally, a thermal imaging camera to provide for fluoroscopic, digital, and infrared thermal imagery of a patient for the purpose of aiding diagnostic, surgical, and non-surgical interventions. The emitter may cooperative with an inventive x-ray capture stage that automatically pivots, orients and aligns itself with the emitter to maximize exposure quality and safety. The combined system uses less power, corrects for any skew or perspective in the emission, allows the subject to remain in place, and allows the surgeon’s workflow to continue uninterrupted.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TAKING X-RAY IMAGES
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for imaging. The method may include: obtaining reference data associated with an object; determining, based on the reference data, at least one of a start point or an end point of an imaging region associated with the object; causing an acquisition device to take an X-ray image of the imaging region based on at least one of the start point or the end point; and transmitting a control signal to cause an indicating device to present at least one of the start point or the end point while taking the X-ray image, wherein the indicating device includes a laser indicating device, the laser indicating device including an emitting unit and a receiving unit, the receiving unit synchronously moving with the emitting unit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTRAST FLOW MODELING WITH DEEP LEARNING
Systems and methods are provided for contrast-enhanced diagnostic imaging. In one aspect, a system comprises an x-ray source that emits a beam of x-rays towards a subject to be imaged; a detector that receives the x-rays attenuated by the subject; a data acquisition system (DAS) operably connected to the detector; and a computing device operably connected to the DAS and configured with executable instructions in non-transitory memory that when executed cause the computing device to generate a first estimated time to perform a diagnostic scan of the subject based on demographic information and clinical information of the patient; and control the x-ray source and the detector to perform the diagnostic scan of the subject at the first estimated time responsive to a first confidence level of the first estimated time above a threshold.
CT IMAGING APPARATUS
A dental or medical CT imaging apparatus including a first longitudinally extending frame part. A support construction extends substantially perpendicularly from the longitudinally extending frame part. An X-ray source and an image detector which together form an X-ray imaging assembly are mounted to the support construction. A first driving mechanism is provided to move the X-ray imaging assembly about a virtual or physical rotation axis. A control system having at least one operation mode that simultaneously controls the first driving mechanism and the X-ray imaging assembly is provided. The support construction includes at least one guiding mechanism configured to enable laterally moving at least one of the X-ray source and the image detector in relation to the support construction. A range of the lateral movement of at least one of the X-ray source and the image detector includes a base position and a first and a second extreme position.
SYSTEMS FOR LASER ALIGNMENT
Various methods and systems are provided for laser alignment systems, particularly laser alignment systems of medical imaging systems. In one example, a medical imaging system comprises: a gantry; and a laser mount including: a first section fixedly coupled to the gantry; a second section seated within the first section and slideable within the first section; and a third section seated within the second section and rotatable within the second section, the third section adapted to house a laser radiation source.
