Foldable aerodynamic drag reducing plate assembly for a domestic or intermodal container
The embodied invention is a foldable aerodynamic drag reducing plate assembly that is installed on shipping container front ends. The drag reducing plates incorporate hinges and attaching components specifically designed for the spacing and position of vertical rods that are part of a standard shipping container. The drag reducing plates include locking bars that provide stability against air wind when a train moves at high speeds. Also, connecting clips, stiffening channels, or hinges are used to combine the drag reducing plate elements design into a single unit.

RAILCAR BODYSHELL
A double skin structure of a railcar bodyshell includes: a harmonica type structural portion in which a closed space is quadrangular when viewed from a car longitudinal direction; and a truss type structural portion which is located adjacent to the harmonica type structural portion and in which a closed space is triangular when viewed from the car longitudinal direction. A thickness reduced portion is formed in at least one of a region between a car width direction middle portion of a roof bodyshell and a car body circumferential direction middle portion of a cantrail. The thickness reduced portion having a bodyshell thickness that is made small by arranging an inner wall of the thickness reduced portion at a car exterior side of the inner wall of a region adjacent to the region in which the thickness reduced portion is formed.

OPENING AND CLOSING MECHANISM AND TRAIN HAVING THE SAME
The present application relates to an opening and closing mechanism and a train having the same. The opening and closing mechanism comprise a driving device, a locking device and a support arm; the driving device is connected to the locking device to drive the locking device to rotate; a first end of the locking device is rotatably mounted on a baseplate; a sliding groove in which a second end of the locking device is slidably located is formed on the support arm; a first end of the support arm is rotatably mounted on the baseplate; a second end of the support arm is connected to a fairing; the driving device drives the locking device to rotate, the locking device drives the support arm to rotate by the sliding groove, so that the support arm opens or closes the fairing.
Rail vehicle, particularly a tram comprising a bumper
It is described a rail vehicle, in particular a tram comprising a front portion and a bumper. Preferably, the bumper comprises at least a thermoplastic material comprising PPS, more preferably the bumper comprises more than 50%, even more preferably more than 80% by weight on the total weight of the thermoplastic materials present in the bumper in a thermoplastic PPS-based material. Preferably, the thermoplastic material comprises reinforcement fibres, more preferably glass fibres.
