The system includes at least one upper rail affixed to the imaging gantry and at least one lower rail affixed to the base, wherein the lower rail includes a stop. The system also includes front and lower carriages moveably attached to the lower rail wherein the upper rail is moveably attached to an upper carriage to enable movement of the imaging gantry relative to the base. Further, the system includes an extension spring attached between the lower carriage and the imaging gantry wherein when a lower carriage rear surface contacts the stop, the upper rail moves horizontally past a base rear surface into an extended position wherein the imaging gantry extends horizontally beyond the base rear surface. The system also includes a linear actuator located in the base that moves the imaging gantry.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
Systems and methods for digital radiography are provided. The method may be implemented on the implemented on a DR system including an imaging device and a computing device. The computing device may include at least one processor and at least one storage device. The method may include directing multiple dose sensors to detect a dose of radiation rays emitted from a radiation source of the imaging device. The multiple dose sensors may correspond to multiple imaging detectors, respectively. The method may also include determining the dose of the radiation rays. The method may further include directing, based on the dose of the radiation rays, at least one imaging detector of the multiple imaging detectors to proceed to detect the radiation rays for generating an image of a target object to be examined.
X-ray diagnosis apparatus comprising a blood vessel running information acquiring function, a position specification function, and a diaphragm control function
According to one embodiment, an X-ray diagnosis apparatus includes an X-ray generator, an X-ray diaphragm, an X-ray detector, an image capturing unit, a blood vessel running information acquiring unit, a device position specifying unit, and a diaphragm controller. The X-ray generator emits X-rays. The X-ray diaphragm restricts a region to be irradiated with X-rays emitted from the X-ray generator. The X-ray detector detects X-rays emitted from the X-ray generator. The image capturing unit acquires an X-ray image based on a detection result obtained by the X-ray detector. The blood vessel running information acquiring unit acquires blood vessel running information. The device position specifying unit specifies the position of a device in the X-ray image. The diaphragm controller controls the X-ray diaphragm based on the blood vessel running information and the position of the device.
MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
A method for operating a measurement system (100) comprises: generating a beam of electromagnetic radiation (25) directed along a central ray (27) using a radiation source (19); moving the radiation source (19) relative to an object region (35) so that the central ray (27) is directed onto a radiation detector (31) during the movement; wherein the moving of the radiation source (19) relative to the object region (35) comprises: rotating the radiation source (19) about a first axis of rotation (D1), wherein the radiation source (19) is disposed eccentrically to the first axis of rotation (D1); rotating the radiation source (19) about a second axis of rotation (D2), wherein the first axis of rotation (D1) and the second axis of rotation (D2) together enclose an acute angle (α) amounting to at most 80°.
Radiation imaging apparatus
In a radiation imaging apparatus, a first recessed portion is formed in at least one side surface among a plurality of side surfaces forming a frame body of a casing. Moreover, a second recessed portion is formed in a peripheral region of a back surface of a back-surface housing, which is a region opposite to the first recessed portion with respect to a boundary between the back surface and the at least one side surface of the casing including the first recessed portion.
Multi-mode cone beam CT radiotherapy simulator and treatment machine with a flat panel imager
A multi-mode cone beam computed tomography radiotherapy simulator and treatment machine is disclosed. The radiotherapy simulator and treatment machine both include a rotatable gantry on which is positioned a cone-beam radiation source and a flat panel imager. The flat panel imager captures x-ray image data to generate cone-beam CT volumetric images used to generate a therapy patient position setup and a treatment plan.
Adaptable X-Ray Analysis Apparatus
The present invention relates to an X-ray analysis apparatus and a method of X-ray analysis. The X-ray analysis apparatus enables a user to carry out a plurality of X-ray analysis applications, for analysing a sample by measuring X-ray diffraction and/or X-ray fluorescence, using the same X-ray source. The apparatus comprises an X-ray source for irradiating the sample with X-rays, the X-ray source comprising a solid anode and a cathode for emitting an electron beam. It also comprises a focusing arrangement for focusing the electron beam onto the anode, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive X-ray analysis application information and to control the X-ray analysis apparatus to selectively operate in either a first X-ray analysis mode or a second X-ray analysis mode based on the X-ray analysis application information. In the first X-ray analysis mode the X-ray source operates at a first operating power and has an effective focal spot size that is less than 100 μm. In the second X-ray analysis mode the X-ray source operates at a second operating power that is higher than the first operating power, and the area of the effective focal spot is larger than the area of the effective focal spot in the first X-ray analysis mode.
MEDICAL VEHICLES, CT DEVICES, AND DRIVING METHOD
A vehicle includes a computed tomographic system (CT) including a CT gantry having an inner peripheral, and a subject window in a surface of the vehicle. The subject window is configured to be exposed to an exterior of the vehicle via a side face of the vehicle, such that the subject window is configured to enable a subject to enter or exit from the inner peripheral of the CT gantry in a body axis direction of the CT.
Bite block for CBCT imaging device
