Method and systems for correcting x-ray detector tilt in x-ray imaging

Various methods and systems are provided for x-ray imaging. In one embodiment, a method comprises acquiring, with an x-ray detector tilted at an angle with respect to an x-ray source, an x-ray image, calculating the angle from the x-ray image, generating a corrected x-ray image based on the calculated angle, and displaying the corrected x-ray image. In this way, tilt artifacts caused by the x-ray detector being tilted with respect to the x-ray source may be removed from an x-ray image.

Systems and methods for medical imaging

A system for medical imaging is provided. The system includes a scanning device configured with a scanning cavity, a control device, and an output device configured within the scanning cavity. The control device is configured to obtain one or more scan protocols and acquire at least one guide instruction corresponding to the one or more scan protocols. The output device is configured to obtain guide information corresponding to the at least one guide instruction and present the guide information. The scanning device is configured to scan a subject with the presentation of the guide information according to the one or more scan protocols.

MEDICAL IMAGE DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD

This application proposes an improved medical imaging device enabling a timely communication of critical findings. The medical imaging device comprises an image acquisition unit, adapted to acquire image data of a subject to be imaged. The medical imaging device further comprises a local data processing device having an artificial-intelligence-module, Al-module, adapted to automatically detect a finding on basis of the acquired image data and to determine a priority status of the detected finding. Further, the medical imaging device comprises a notification module, adapted to provide, if the determined priority status reaches or exceeds a notification threshold, a notification data containing the detected finding. The application further proposes a medical imaging system, a method of operating a medical imaging device, a computer program element and a computer-readable medium having stored the computer program element.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VASCULAR IMAGE CO-REGISTRATION

This disclosure provides methods for vascular imaging co-registration and using the co-registered imaging data in guiding live fluoroscopy. Extravascular imaging data includes an extravascular contrast image showing the portion of the blood vessel with contrast showing a visualized anatomical landmark while intravascular imaging data is obtained during a translation procedure that includes one or more intravascular images showing a detected anatomical landmark. The starting location and the ending location of the imaging element on the extravascular imaging data is marked, and the predicted location of the detected anatomical landmark on the extravascular imaging data is marked. The predicted location of the detected anatomical landmark is then aligned with the visualized anatomical landmark.

RADIATION IMAGING SYSTEM

A radiation imaging system includes a radiation source and a notifying unit. The radiation source is for still image shooting and moving image shooting performed by the radiation imaging system to obtain image data of a subject. The notifying unit notifies whether a type of imaging to be performed is the still image shooting or the moving image shooting in a mode in which the type is instinctively recognizable by at least one of sense of sight, sense of hearing, and sense of touch.

A radiation imaging system including an imager that performs imaging of moving images by irradiating a subject with radiation, the radiation imaging system including a storage in which an imaging guide pattern for instructing a predetermined motion to the subject at a time of imaging by the imager is associated with a predetermined word that can be included in an imaging order and is stored, a hardware processor that acquires an imaging order to imaging by the imager, extracts the predetermined word from the acquired imaging order, and selects an imaging guide pattern that is associated with the extracted predetermined word from imaging guide patterns stored in the storage, and an instructor that instructs the predetermined motion to the subject, based on the selected imaging guide pattern.

Method for registering an X-ray image data set with a navigation system, computer program product, and system

The disclosure relates to methods, systems, and computer program products for registering a set of X-ray images with a navigation system. In the method, by a camera, at least one image of a reference object is recorded and, on the basis thereof, a current posture of the reference object is determined. It is then checked whether this posture fulfils a specified criterion, which also on an arrangement of the reference object at least partially outside a planned reconstruction volume of the X-ray device, predicts an expected successful registration. On non-fulfillment of the criterion, a signal for adaptation of a relative alignment between the X-ray device and the reference object is automatically output. On fulfillment of the criterion, the X-ray images of the reference object are recorded, the posture of the reference object is determined, and the registration is carried out using the determined postures as reference.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR APPLYING FORCE TO BREASTS FOR IMAGING

A method of compressing a breast of a patient with a breast imaging system includes obtaining an x-ray area of the breast of the patient. The x-ray area of the breast is compared to a data set, and a target force is based at least in part on the comparison is identified. A compressive force is applied to the breast, and is based at least in part on the target force. The breast is imaged with the breast imaging system.
