AXLE ROLLER BEARING SEAL SHROUD
A bearing assembly comprising a bearing cup having two ends, with a pair of outer raceways formed one adjacent each end of the bearing cup. A pair of bearing cones form a pair of inner raceways. Two rows of tapered roller bearings with each row received between one inner raceway and one outer raceway. A pair of wear rings are provided, each having a first axially inwardly directed end in engagement with an outwardly directed end of a bearing cone. A pair of seals each having a first end fitted into one into one of the bearing cup cylindrical counterbores. Each seal has a second end including a resilient element to form a seal with one of the wear rings. A second end of each wear ring is received in a cylindrical counterbore in each annular backing ring. A circular shroud is located radially outer and adjacent to one seal.
AXLE BOX SUSPENSION OF RAILCAR BOGIE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A railcar bogie axle box suspension axle beam includes an end portion d at a tip end, a tubular portion at the end portion and being open at both car width direction sides. The tubular portion includes: a first semi-tubular portion integrally formed with a main body portion; a second semi-tubular portion brought into contact with the first semi-tubular portion from one side in the car longitudinal direction; and a bolt fastening the second semi-tubular portion to the first. The first semi-tubular portion includes: a flat opposing surface contacting the second semi-tubular portion; and a hole into which the bolt is inserted. The second semi-tubular portion includes: a flat opposing surface contacting with the first semi-tubular portion surface; a flat machining reference surface formed at an opposite side of the opposing surface; and a hole extending in a direction perpendicular to the opposing surface, the bolt inserted into the hole.
Plain bearing arrangement for a shaft loaded with a circumferential radial force
A plain bearing arrangement for a shaft loaded with a circumferential radial force, having a bearing ring arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in a housing component and having a first running surface formed on the inner circumference, and a second running surface formed on the outer circumference of the shaft or on the outer circumference of a sleeve arranged on the shaft, the second running surface being mounted in a sliding manner on the first running surface, wherein a device for axially feeding a lubricant to an end side of the shaft is provided, and at least one axially extending, radially open groove that is axially open in a direction of the end side of the shaft is formed in the second running surface.

RAILWAY CONDITION MONITORING SENSOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING THE CONDITION OF A RAILWAY BEARING
The invention provides a railway condition monitoring sensor device attached to a railway bearing of a railway vehicle including at least one vibration sensor; means for detecting movement of the railway vehicle; a control unit for processing at least the signals obtained by the vibration sensor to determine a health parameter indicating the bearings state of health. The control unit triggers measurements based on at least one predetermined condition; and a wireless communication device for communicating the health parameter to a monitoring and control server. The control unit configured to be operated in an energy-saving sleep mode and in at an activated mode. The control unit is configured to switch from the sleep mode to the activated mode upon detecting that a predetermined set of conditions is met. The predetermined set of conditions includes the condition that the means for detecting the movement detects that the railway vehicle is moving.
RAILCAR ADAPTER FOR CONNECTING A RAILCAR BODY TO A BEARING
Railcar adapter for connecting a railcar body to a bearing providing an adapter body having two lateral channels each axially delimited by a pair of opposed lugs and a lateral surface perpendicular to the opposed lugs, each lateral channel being adapted to cooperate with the railcar body. The railcar adapter further provides swivelling means allowing swivelling of the railcar adapter relative to the railcar body.

Rubber bushing for railroad trucks
Achieved is a rubber bushing for railroad trucks which has a novel structure and is capable of improving, for example, flame resistance to externally applied fire or the like without greatly degrading the basic properties demanded with respect to vibrational and load inputs. A rubber bushing 10 used for railroad car trucks comprises a shaft-like inner member 12 and an outer member 14, disposed on the outer peripheral side of the inner member 12 at a remove therefrom, which are linked by a rubber elastic body 16. A cover part 48 that covers an exposed end surface 44, from the outside thereof, where the rubber elastic body 16 is exposed to the outside between the axial ends of the inner member 12 and the outer member 14, is provided at an axial end of the rubber elastic body 16 as a separate member from the rubber elastic body 16.
