BOGIE FOR A RAIL VEHICLE
A bogie for a rail vehicle includes a wheel set with a wheel set bearing. In order to provide a cost-effective testing of a wheel set bearing temperature, the bogie includes a temperature verification or test element and a thermally conducting line which thermally connects the wheel set bearing with the temperature verification or test element. A rail vehicle having at least one bogie and a method for verifying a wheel set bearing temperature of a rail vehicle are also provided.

Axle of wheel sets and respective method for the ultrasound inspection
An axle of railway wheel sets and a corresponding method for the ultrasound inspection are described. A blind hole, coaxial to the axle and sized to accommodate an ultrasonic probe, is obtained in each end of the axle. Main holes are intended to accommodate the probe holder containing a plurality of ultrasonic transducers for the inspection of the axle from the inside of the hole. The main advantage is to facilitate the propagation of the ultrasounds without being subjected to the interference caused by the geometric discontinuities normally present at the ends of the axles thereby minimizing false positives in the readings of the echoes.

BEARING TEMPERATURE DETECTOR OF RAILCAR BOGIE
A bearing temperature detector of a railcar bogie includes: a temperature sensor unit passing through an opening of an axle box accommodating a bearing supporting an axle and configured to detect a temperature of an outer ring of the bearing; an elastic body configured to bias the temperature sensor unit toward the outer ring; and a temperature sensor unit support seat including a substrate portion to which the temperature sensor unit is attached via the elastic body, the temperature sensor unit support seat being detachably fixed to the axle box from an outside of the axle box.
Railway axlebox bearing assembly with mounting surface
The invention relates to a railway axlebox bearing assembly including a radially outer mounting surface configured to be mounted so as to face a radially inner mounting surface of an axlebox housing. It is proposed to further provide the assembly with least two spacer elements configured to be mounted between the radially outer mounting surface and the mounting surface of an axlebox housing.

SENSOR DEVICE WITH MOUNTING ELEMENT
A sensor device for monitoring a component, the sensor device providing a zinc alloy mounting element comprising a bracket and a bolt. The zinc alloy of the zinc alloy mounting element increases a rigidity of the mounting element, the zinc alloy having less than 5% aluminum by weight and less than 5% copper by weight; and at least one sensor coupled to the zinc alloy mounting element for mounting to the component of interest. The at least one sensor measures at least one condition parameter of the component.

WHEEL LOAD ADJUSTING TOOL OF RAILCAR BOGIE, RAILCAR BOGIE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RAILCAR BOGIE
A wheel load adjusting tool includes at least one liner interposed between an axle box and a spring directly or indirectly supported by the axle box, the liner including: a pressure receiving portion configured to receive a load applied from the spring; a first engaging portion formed by recessing a part of an outer edge of the pressure receiving portion inward, the first engaging portion engaging with a first engaged portion to restrict the liner from being displaced with respect to the axle box, the first engaged portion projecting from an upper surface of the axle box; and a second engaging portion projecting outward from the pressure receiving portion at an opposite side of the first engaging portion, the second engaging portion engaging with a second engaged portion of the axle box to restrict the liner from being displaced and rotated with respect to the axle box.
