X-RAY IMAGE DATA MONITORING AND SIGNALING FOR PATIENT SAFETY
Techniques are provided for x-ray image data monitoring and signaling for patient safety. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes integrating energy associated with a received x-ray pulse at an array of pixels. The method also includes multiplexing a readout of the integrated energy from the array of pixels, as analog signals, into channels, and performing analog to digital conversion of the analog signals of the channels into digital signals. The method further includes generating an error indicator in response to determining that a calculated mean of the digital signals is either greater than an upper threshold value associated with saturation or less than a lower threshold value associated with underexposure. The method further includes transmitting the error indicator over a Universal Serial Bus, to an imaging system, to terminate transmission of further x-ray pulses.
System and method for controlling and selecting sources in a room on a network
A system and method for controlling and selecting sources in a room on a network. The system allows a remote viewer to create a virtual presence within the room by providing the available displays, corresponding to the sources, to the remote viewer. The system includes a standardizing technique for improving the communication and overall switching of data for streaming on a network. The system can include a recording server for performing dual recording of the video files in each of a local database and a remote database. A graphical user interface (GUI) display is provided to guide a local user through a medical procedure in the standardized system.
WIRELESS DIGITAL DETECTOR WITH MOTION CHARGING
A portable digital radiography detector has a two dimensional array of photosensors with control electronics electrically connected to the photosensors. A power source is electrically connected to the control electronics. A kinetic charging system is electrically connected to the power source to recharge the power source. There is a substantially rigid housing enclosing the photosensors, the control electronics, and the kinetic charging system.
ORAL X-RAY DEVICE HAVING ALIGNMENT FUNCTION
An oral X-ray device having an alignment function includes an X-ray tube configured to generate and emit X-rays, and an X-ray receiver including a first gyro-sensor and a first communication module, having, at a corner thereof, a magnet configured to generate a magnetic force, and configured to receive the X-rays generated from the X-ray tube to acquire X-ray data about an object in the oral cavity. The X-ray tube includes a second gyro-sensor, an ultrasonic sensor configured to sense the X-ray receiver by generating ultrasonic waves and thus to sense a position of the X-ray receiver, and a proximity sensor configured to sense a distance between the X-ray tube and the X-ray receiver.
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR THE CONTACTLESS TRANSMISSION OF AN ELECTRICAL AND/OR ELECTROMAGNETIC SIGNAL
A transmission system is disclosed for the contactless transmission of at least one electrical and/or electromagnetic signal from a first device part of a data-generating device to a second device part of the device by way of electrical and/or electromagnetic coupling. The first device part is set up to perform a movement relative to the second device part during operation. The transmission system includes a first transmission unit and a second transmission unit, either being arrangable on the first device part and the other being arrangable on the second device part. The first transmission unit includes a first coupler and a first auxiliary coupler and the second transmission unit includes a second coupler. For the electrical and/or electromagnetic coupling, the coupling strengths between the first coupler and the second coupler and between the first auxiliary coupler and the second coupler have different functional distance dependences.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SOFTWARE UPDATES
A system for providing a software update includes a server in which software updates are registered, and a terminal for receiving version information of a software update from the server and performing a software update on the basis of the received version information of the software update, wherein the server includes a version information checking unit for collecting version information of software temporarily stored in the terminal or version information of software installed in the terminal and comparing the version information of the temporarily stored software or the version information of the installed software with the version information of the software update to determine whether to transmit the software update to the terminal.
RADIATION IMAGE CAPTURING SYSTEM
A radiation image capturing system includes a capturing room and a console. The capturing room includes a bucky apparatus, a radiation irradiating apparatus and a detecting unit. A plurality of portable radiation image capturing apparatuses can be loaded on the bucky apparatus. The radiation irradiating apparatus is able to simultaneously irradiate radiation to the plurality of portable radiation image capturing apparatuses. The console is associated with the capturing room and obtains capturing order information. The console allows the portable radiation image capturing apparatuses to advance to a capturing possible state when the console judges that capturing in the capturing order information is long length capturing. The console allows only one of the portable radiation image capturing apparatuses to advance to the capturing possible state when the console judges that the capturing is not the long length capturing.
COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHY APPARATUS WITH A WIRELESS CONTROL SYSTEM
A computed tomography (CT) apparatus wireless controller has a CT main control circuit and a wireless main control circuit. The wireless main control circuit receives a control signal from a wireless secondary controller, and subjects the control signal to a validity check according to an identifier of the wireless secondary controller carried in the control signal when the control signal passes the check, it is supplied to the CT main control circuit from the wireless main control circuit. The CT main control circuit performs corresponding operation control according to the control signal.
MOVEABLE MEDICAL DEVICES AND MONITORING METHODS THEREOF
A movable medical device is provided. The movable medical device may include a medical cabin configured to accommodate medical resources for providing multiple types of medical services and a movable platform configured to move the medical cabin to a desired location. The medical cabin may include a radiation room configured to accommodate a radiation device for providing a medical imaging service; a sample processing room configured to accommodate medical resources for providing at least one of a sampling service or a sample detection service; and a control room configured to accommodate a control platform used to control the radiation device for providing the medical imaging service.
FLAT CABLE STRAIN RELIEF WITH CONTROLLED MECHANICAL RESISTANCE
A flexible electronic pathway, such as a flat flexible cable or flexible circuit, includes a cut-out within the pathway to provide strain relief by balancing the stress over the termination area. The flexible electronic pathway allows relative movement between a first end and a second end in all three translation, all three rotation directions, and combinations thereof. The strain relief can provide for a controlled mechanical resistance to reduce the risk of damage and failure.
