Methods for generating accurate radiation dose maps corrected for temporal and spatial changes arising in remote dosimetry applications
10617892 · 2020-04-14 · ·

A method for generating a radiation dose map of a dosimeter indicating a spatial distribution of radiation dose imparted to the dosimeter. The corrected radiation dose map may be generated with the computer system by applying temporal correction factor and spatial correction factors to a measured radiation dose map, the corrected radiation dose map having pixel values associated with the measured radiation dose having been corrected for temporal effects caused by changes in the measure of radiation dose imparted to the dosimeter between the first time point and the second time point, and for spatial effects caused by the sensitivity of the dosimeter to radiation measurements as a function of the spatial dimension.

An x-ray imaging condition modification method includes modifying a first imaging condition to a second imaging condition by changing a value of at least one parameter among parameters included in the first imaging condition to an arbitrary value, and changing values of remaining parameters that are parameters other than the at least one parameter using the arbitrary value and an approximate function.

Method for calibrating working plane of medical detection apparatus
10548559 · 2020-02-04 · ·

A method for calibrating a working plane of a medical detection apparatus in parallel with a first reference plane is provided. The working plane has first and second points to be calibrated thereon. The first and second points are supporting points of first and second foots of the working plane respectively. The method includes receiving a first inclination angle value which is an angle between a line connecting the first and second points and the first reference plane; computing a vertical distance between the second point to be calibrated and the first reference plane as a first magnitude of adjustment according to a pre-stored distance between the first and second points and the first inclination angle value; and adjusting a height of the second foot according to the first magnitude of adjustment to allow the second point to be located on the first reference plane.

A mobile X-ray imaging apparatus includes a main body, a driving wheel provided in a lower portion of the main body and capable of moving the main body, a drive motor configured to drive the driving wheel, a motor encoder configured to detect a rotation speed of the drive motor, a driving wheel rotation state detector configured to detect a rotation state of the driving wheel, the driving wheel rotation state detector comprising a rotation state detection sensor located at the main body, and a bracket coaxially connected to the driving wheel and allowing the rotation state detection sensor to detect an ON/OFF state according to the rotation state of the driving wheel, and a controller configured to control the drive motor based on information detected by the motor encoder and the driving wheel rotation state detector.

FIDUCIAL MARKER FOR GEOMETRIC CALIBRATION OF BED-SIDE MOBILE TOMOSYNTHESIS SYSTEM
20200000426 · 2020-01-02 ·

A method for geometric calibration of a radiography apparatus disposes at least one radio-opaque marker in the field of view of the radiography apparatus. A series of tomosynthesis projection images of patient anatomy is acquired from the detector with the x-ray source at different positions along a scan path. For at least three projection images showing the position of the radio-opaque marker, the spatial and angular geometry of the x-ray source and detector are calculated according to the positions of the marker. A tomosynthesis image is reconstructed according to the calculated geometry. A rendering of the reconstructed image is displayed.

BIMODAL THREE-DIMENSIONAL MAMMARY GLAND IMAGING QUALITY DETECTING PHANTOM AND METHOD

A bimodal three-dimensional mammary gland imaging quality detecting phantom and method, which includes: a three-dimensional breast appearance phantom structure made of agarose gel containing polyethylene, which is a radiation equivalent material of adipose tissues under X-rays, the relaxation time of hydrogen protons in the agarose gel under a 3T magnetic field is equivalent to that of human adipose tissues, and mammary gland tissue duct phantoms and phantoms of lobules of mammary gland are distributed in the breast appearance phantom structure. The phantom can be used for the image quality detection and analysis of mammary gland imaging by the systems of magnetic resonance and mammography, the material is elastic and can be compressed on a mammography platform for imaging, and the phantom can also be vertically placed in the magnetic resonance mammary gland coil for tomography, so two imaging modes of one phantom are achieved, and the application range is expanded.
