DEEP LEARNING - BASED STOP CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HIGH-SPEED TRAIN
The present disclosure provides a deep learning-based stop control method and system for a high-speed train, and relates to the technical field of rail transit management and control. The method includes: obtaining a training data set; establishing a convolutional neural network (CNN); training and optimizing the CNN by using the training data set, to obtain an optimized CNN; obtaining actual running data of a to-be-controlled train; inputting the actual running data into the optimized CNN to obtain a stop position of the to-be-controlled train; determining whether the stop position of the to-be-controlled train is 0; and if the stop position of the to-be-controlled train is 0, outputting a breaking command; or if the stop position of the to-be-controlled train is not 0, performing the step of “obtaining actual running data of a to-be-controlled train”. The present disclosure can ensure accurate stop of a high-speed train without high costs.

Braking system for slideway guided amusement vehicles
A braking system for slideway guided amusement vehicles providing both manual and automatic braking for the slideway guided amusement vehicles is provided. The braking system includes at least one brake handle, a first shaft fixed to the at least one brake handle, a first gear concentrically positioned on and free to spin independently of the first shaft, an actuator fixed to the first shaft for providing a linear motion to a stop pin, an inlet opening on the first gear for receiving the stop pin, a second gear coupled to the first gear, concentrically fixed on a second shaft for mounting spinnably and extending horizontally to a chassis of a vehicle, at least one friction member attached to the second shaft, a tensioning means, and a control unit adapted to remove the stop pin from the inlet opening via the actuator.

Unattended railcar motion control system
A method and mechanism for initiating an emergency stop for an unattended railcar is disclosed. The method may include using a trip arm placed alongside the railway tracks at a designated stop point that may contact a portable trip-cock lever arm that extends out beyond the perimeter of the railcar if the railcar reaches the stop point as it moves along the track. The trip-cock lever arm may be attached to a valve that is connected to the pneumatic brake system of the unattended railcar. As the trip-cock lever arm rotates, the valve may open to release the air pressure in the pneumatic brake system causing the brakes to engage the wheels causing the railcar to stop.

VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM
Disclosed is a brake system for a railroad vehicle, including a parking brake provided with a piston and having a first configuration in which the piston is in a working position in which it acts on a lining support and applies a predetermined force to a brake disc; a second configuration in which the piston is in a rest position in which it does not act on the support and does not apply any force to the disc; and a third configuration in which, when the vehicle is not at a standstill and the ambient temperature in the environment of the disc is greater than a threshold value, it forces the piston to move towards a trip position different from its working and rest positions, in order to limit or cancel the force applied to the disc.
