Failsafe rail mounted shunt device
The present disclosure generally relates to shunt devices for providing multi-fold protection for track workers. For example, a failsafe shunt device may have a pair of end components magnetically couple to two running rails and a central unit connected to the pair of end components via electrical wires. The failsafe shunt device may communicate with an operations control center (OCC) to indicate a presence of the shunt device. Related methods of using disclosed shunt devices and associated systems are also described.
System and method for testing track circuits
A system includes a track system having a first rail and a second rail, a track activity detection circuit electrically connected to each of the first rail and the second rail, a track shunt circuit electrically connected to the first rail and the second rail, wherein the track shunt circuit is configured to selectively electrically connect the first rail and the second rail through a shunt. A method includes receiving an instruction to apply a shunt between a first rail and a second rail of a track system, and electrically connecting the first rail to the second rail through a controllable track shunt circuit.

RAILWAY SWITCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND/OR METHOD
The system can include: a motion planner and a switch management system. The system can optionally include or operate in conjunction with a vehicle controller, a user interface (UI), and a track data system. However, the system 100 can additionally or alternatively include any other suitable set of components. The system functions to facilitate vehicle control and/or manage authority, in the form of exclusive track reservations, within a rail network. Additionally or alternatively, the system can function to manage switch positions (and/or operation based on switch positions) within a rail network.
Computer implemented method for determining railway vehicle movement profile type of a railway vehicle movement profile and controller of a track circuit system
A computer implemented method is for determining railway vehicle movement profile type of a railway vehicle movement profile. The railway vehicle movement profile includes a sequence of measured transmitted currents of a transceiver of a track circuit with respect to the time. The method includes obtaining a railway vehicle movement profile, normalizing the railway vehicle movement profile, extracting one or more features from the normalized railway vehicle movement profile, determining the distance of the extracted features with respect to each centroid of a railway vehicle movement profile type determined in a classification process, and assigning the railway vehicle movement profile to the railway vehicle movement profile type with the closest centroid.
MONITORING UNIT FOR MONITORING A RAILWAY TRACK AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A RAILWAY TRACK
A monitoring unit for monitoring a railway track is provided. The monitoring unit may include a processing unit, at least one wheel sensor connectable to a rail of the railway track, and a sensor arrangement connectable to a railway switch of the railway track. The wheel sensor and the sensor arrangement may be connected with the processing unit, and the processing unit may include an output that is connectable to a signaling system. Furthermore, a method for monitoring a railway track is provided.
RAILWAY SHUNT ENCLOSURE
A railway termination shunt enclosure including one or more receptacles, each of the one or more receptacles being configured to receive a termination shunt. The enclosure also includes at least one mounting surface and a connector assembly rotatably attaching the one or more receptacles to one or more of the at least one mounting surface.
Mount for simulated rail track load inductor
A simulated track inductor mount including a base configured to be fixed against a supporting surface and an inductor hub attached to and extending from the base. The inductor hub includes one or more surfaces defining a margin and being configured to engage with an inner surface of the simulated track inductor, and the one or more surfaces are fixed to a camming tab configured to flex to removably seat the simulated track inductor on the inductor hub.
INTERLOCKING DEVICE
An interlocking device performs route control for trains based on: first operation diagram information as train operation diagram information on a train which runs between stations; second operation diagram information as train operation diagram information on a train which moves in a station yard; and on-track position information on the trains. The interlocking device changes an order of the route control according to whether a predetermined condition is satisfied.
