Railroad crossing warning system
A railroad crossing warning system includes a beam emitter for generating a focused beam of energy, and a receiver for receiving the focused beam of energy. A pair of weatherproof housings secures the emitter and receiver diagonally at a railroad intersection. A base station is communicatively linked to the beam emitter and the receiver, and a base station communication unit transmits an obstruction warning to an approaching train.

Broken Wheel Detection System
A broken wheel detection system for detecting broken wheels on rail vehicles even when such vehicles are moving at a high rate of speed.
CABLE DRIVEN RAILROAD SWITCH INDICATOR
A railroad switch indicator, that operates independently of the mechanism for operating the switch, for signaling the position of the switchpoints via a flexible mechanical cable connected to a railroad switch amplifier mechanism. The railroad switch amplifier mechanism has linkage members attached to a crossbar connecting inner stockrails and to a pivoted lever arm, the output arm of which is attached to the mechanical cable. The flexible mechanical cable allows the railroad switch indicator to be positioned remotely from the switchpoints and switch amplifier mechanism in a highly visible and easily serviced location.

LIGHT-OUT DETECTION FOR WAYSIDE SIGNALS
A light-out detection device includes a mounting structure with a sensor for measuring a light output, wherein the mounting structure is configured as retrofittable structure to mount at a front side of a signal, a processor board with an actuator, the processor board being operably coupled to the at least one sensor, wherein the processor board is configured to control the actuator such that the actuator switches from a first state to a second state when the measured light output is less than a predefined threshold.
