A device for a mobile ultrasound unit having an ultrasound probe includes a trained orientation neural network and a result converter. The trained orientation neural network receives a non-canonical image of a body part from the mobile ultrasound unit and generates a transformation transforming between a position and rotation associated with a canonical image and a position and rotation associated with the non-canonical image. The result converter converts the transformation into position and/or rotation instructions of the probe and displays the position and/or rotation instructions to a user to change the position and/or rotation of the probe.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPER-RESOLUTION COMPACT ULTRASOUND IMAGING
Systems and methods for medical imaging, specifically ultrasound imaging capable of achieving spatial resolutions that can resolve point objects smaller than 100 μm irrespective of them to be well-resolved, using the principles of compressive sensing and sparse recovery are described. The processor module is configured to adjust at least one of the ultrasound image and an imaging setting based on the touch in at least one of the user selectable elements of the display device. The ultrasound image and the user selectable elements are concurrently displayed on the display device.

In a photoacoustic measurement apparatus and a probe, artifacts due to photoacoustic waves generated in a surface portion of a subject are reduced without increasing the repetition period of photoacoustic measurement. A measurement light emitting unit emits measurement light toward a subject. An acoustic wave detector detects photoacoustic waves generated within the subject due to the measurement light. A correction light source emits correction light toward the subject. A light intensity detector detects reflected light generated by reflection of the correction light, which is emitted toward the subject, from the subject. In a probe, the correction light source and the light intensity detector are disposed between the measurement light emitting unit and the acoustic wave detector.
