Bite block for CBCT imaging device
An extra-oral dental imaging apparatus can obtain a radiographic image of a portion of a head of a patient. Exemplary dental apparatus and/or method embodiments can position a subject for dental radiographic imaging by providing a bitable dental arch mounting apparatus to offset the antero-posterior plane of the dental imaging apparatus and the plane of symmetry of the dental arch mounting apparatus. In one embodiment, the offset can be provided by a tilted dental arch mounting apparatus (e.g., relative to the horizontal).
IMAGING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPTIMISING IMAGE ACQUISITION
An imaging device for acquiring a time series of in vivo images of a region of a subject's body is provided. The imaging device includes a energy source, a detector for detecting energy from the energy source passing through the region of the subject's body located between the energy source and detector, a controller configured to operate the energy source and the detector to acquire a time series of in vivo images of the region of the subject's body, a sensor for monitoring a physiological parameter associated with the region of the subject's body to be imaged and a processor configured to determine timing of the image acquisition based at least on the monitored physiological parameter. A method for acquiring a time series of in vivo images of a region of a subject's body using the imaging device is also provided.
ULTRASOUND MEASUREMENT DEVICE
An ultrasound measurement device includes: a processing device and multiple ultrasound sensors that capture tomographic information of a physiological structure. The ultrasound sensors include a first ultrasound sensor including a first transducer having a first frequency response with a first resonant frequency, and a second ultrasound sensor including a second transducer having a second frequency response with a second resonant frequency different from the first resonant frequency. The first frequency response partially overlaps with the second frequency response. The second transducer transmits an ultrasound signal that is reflected by the physiological structure to create a reflected ultrasound signal, the first transducer generates a first received signal from the reflected ultrasound signal, the second transducer generates a second received signal from the reflected ultrasound signal, and the processing device normalizes the first received signal with the second received signal or the second received signal with the first received signal.
Equine imaging safety restraint and positioning
A system for use in positioning and restraining an equine hoof during imaging, with at least one panic-releasable connection. The system may comprise an equine boot and an interface plate attached to the underside thereof, a receiver plate attached to a limb placement region of an imaging apparatus, and a placement plate attached to the receiver plate. Further disclosed is use of one or more components apart from the whole system, and methods of use for positioning and restraining an equine hoof during imaging.
Medical system including medical imaging device and robotic bed
In a medical system including a medical imaging device and a robotic bed, the table may be movable between a first position where a maximum dimension of the robot arm not hidden under the table is less than one fourth of a longitudinal dimension of the table when the table is viewed from vertically above, and a second position where a maximum dimension of the robot arm not hidden under the table is one fourth of a longitudinal dimension of the table or more when the table is viewed from vertically above. The second position may be an imaging position or an imaging preparation position where an image is taken by the medical imaging device. The first position may be surgery position where a shortest distance between the robotic bed and a location of the medical imaging device is at least a predetermined distance.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
An information processing apparatus includes a memory storing a program, and one or more processors that, by executing the program, function as an obtaining unit configured to obtain information relating to a posture of an imaging device that is imaging a region of a subject, and a determination unit configured to perform a determination, based on the information relating to the posture, regarding which region of the subject corresponds to the region imaged by the imaging device. The determination unit performs the determination based on the information relating to the posture obtained at a timing when a posture of the imaging device satisfies a predetermined condition.
HEADSET SYSTEM
Arrangements described herein relate to a headset system and a method to manufacturing the headset system, the headset system including a headset configured to lay on top of a surface and to support a head of a subject when the subject is in a supine position or a reclined position, at least one probe adjustment mechanism, and a probe coupled to the at least one probe adjustment mechanism and configured to emit acoustic energy.
Patient overlay for ultrasound positioning device
Systems and methods can include a system for positioning an ultrasound probe proximal to anatomy of a patient on an overlay on a radiation couch including a substantially planar base including engagement features to directly or indirectly index the substantially planar base to the radiation couch and a centrally located guide extending longitudinally along a top side of the base, a probe holder, configured to be coupled to, to translate longitudinally, and to be user-accessed and user-controlled from within, a central region of the substantially planar base, a clamp, configured to localize the probe holder at a specified location along a translation path in the central region of the substantially planar base, leg supports shaped to accommodate a patient's legs from behind, the pair of leg supports being shaped and arranged to provide a space therebetween that can accommodate an ultrasound probe holder.
Systems and methods for designing and manufacturing custom immobilization molds for use in medical procedures
Described herein are systems and methods of processing immobilization molds for application of treatment, A computing system may generate a three-dimensional mold model of immobilization mold within with a subject is to be positioned for application of a treatment. The computing system may subtract a three-dimensional scan of at least a portion of the subject from the three-dimensional mold model to define an opening therein. The computing system may remove, from the three-dimensional mold model, a first portion to define an imprint in the opening from a first axis along which the subject is to enter. The computing system may remove, from a second portion of the three-dimensional mold model remaining with the removal of the first portion, inward protrusions into the imprint of relative to the second axis intersecting the first axis.
