TROLLEY FOR CARRYING ITEMS
Disclosed is a trolley for carrying articles, including a base for carrying articles with wheels; a trolley frame fixedly connected to the base and extending upwards, the trolley frame forming a baffle at the front side of the base, the trolley frame including an upper portion, a middle portion and a lower portion, wherein the lower portion is connected to the front end of the base, the middle portion is provided with a foldable storage unit, and the upper portion is provided with a handle; and the base and the trolley frame form a carrying space, the foldable storage unit is provided with a retracted location and an unfolded location at which a storage space formed by the foldable storage unit occupies a part of the carrying space. A user may decide to unfold or retract the storage unit as necessary to properly place the articles being carried.
TROLLEY BASEPLATE AND TROLLEY USING THE SAME
Disclosed is a trolley baseplate including a plate body having a head end and a tail end, a first locking mechanism on the plate body adjacent to the head end and a second locking mechanism on the plate body adjacent to the tail end. The second locking mechanism is placed corresponding to the first locking mechanism and the structures of the two locking mechanism are fitting. When front and back trolleys are concatenated, the tail end of the front trolley and the head end of the back trolley can be locked to each other by means of the first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism. The trolleys with the above structures can be concatenated more conveniently, and are not liable to overturn upon sudden braking or turning, which can effectively shorten the time for the staff to fasten two trolleys together.
SYSTEMS WITH BURIED ANTENNAS FOR BI-DIRECTIONAL COMMUNICATION WITH WHEELED VEHICLES
Various systems for monitoring wheeled vehicles (such as shopping carts) are disclosed. The system can include an RF antenna unit that is buried and is configured for bi-directional communication with the electronics on the cart. In some embodiments, the antenna comprises a plurality of transmitters, which can emit synchronized signals. In some embodiments, the antenna comprises a radiating cable, which can emit a signal along some, substantially all, or all of its length.
Shopping cart liner with toy attachment system
A shopping cart liner includes a body configured to nest in the child seat portion of a shopping cart. The body may define one or more openings positioned to enable the feet of a child seated in the shopping cart to protrude through the body, and the shopping cart liner includes a track at least partially embedded in a portion of the shopping cart liner. A clip is slidingly engaged with the track, and defines an opening for attaching an item to the shopping cart liner. An item such as a toy, teething ring, pacifier, or other item may be attached. The body may be padded, and, and may include one or more pockets. The shopping cart liner may include a seat belt for securing a child to the shopping cart liner, and may be used in combination with a pillow.
PORTABLE SHOPPING CART
A folding shopping cart includes a body frame with a frame connecting base secured at the first end of the body frame. The shopping cart also includes a lower first frame member and an upper second frame member telescopically engaged to define a vertical frame member, wherein a bottom of the lower first frame member is hinged on the frame connecting base. A handlebar is connected with the upper second frame member and front wheels are secured to a second end of the body frame opposite the first end of the body frame. First and second folding rear wheels are respectively secured on opposite sides of the frame connecting base. A button is mechanically linked to a telescopic locking device controlling relative movement between the lower first frame member and the upper second frame member. At least one basket is detachably secured thereto.

Shopping Cart Corral System and Associated Systems and Methods
Example shopping cart corral systems and associated systems and methods are described. The example shopping cart corral system includes a corral structure, a radio-frequency transmitter, a radio-frequency receiver, and a controller coupled to the radio-frequency transmitter and the radio-frequency receiver. The controller estimates a quantity of shopping carts disposed in the shopping cart corral based on at least one property of the reflected radio-frequency signal. An example shopping cart counter system includes an elongated structure, first and second electrical contacts, a power source and a processing device. The power source applies a voltage or an electrical current to the first electrical contact and the shopping carts complete an electrical circuit between the first and second electrical contacts. The processing device estimates the quantity of shopping carts disposed in the elongated structure based on an electrical resistance associated with the shopping carts.
Antibacterial Shopping Cart System
An antibacterial shopping cart system includes a shopping cart that has a handle, a storage section and a seat that is positioned within the storage section. A cover is removably positioned on the shopping cart such that the cover lines the storage section. The cover extends over the handle to inhibit bacteria from being transferred from the handle when the handle is gripped. The cover extends over the seat to inhibit bacteria from being transferred from the seat when the seat is sat upon.
System and method for cleaning and disinfecting shopping carts
The present invention provides a system and method for cleaning and disinfecting shopping carts. The system comprises a main housing with three main systems: a steam system, an ultraviolet system and a microwave system. The combination of the systems allows for the reduction of germs and viruses without the use of chemicals which may be both harmful to the shopping carts and to the environment. A conveying means allows shopping carts to be displaced through the system. The system further provides a disinfecting box in connection with the main housing for users to disinfect their hands. The method provided allows for the cleaning and disinfecting of a shopping cart with the use of the system.
