Hand held ultrasound probe
A portable ultrasound probe is described having a mechanical transducer, rotating mirror and mirror motor. The transducer can be used for diagnostic imaging and procedural guidance imaging. The probe has a light weight design for easy one handed use, and can use external processors to provide proper image display with accompanying software.
CABLE AND MEDICAL HOLLOW TUBE
A cable includes a sheath, and a coating film covering a circumference of the sheath, the coating film adhering to the sheath. The coating film is formed from a rubber composition including a rubber component and fine particles. A static friction coefficient on a surface of the coating film is 0.5 or less. When the coating film is subjected to a testing such that a long fiber non-woven fabric including cotton linters including an alcohol for disinfection with a length of 50 mm along a wiping direction is brought contiguous to the surface of the coating film at a shearing stress of 210.sup.3 MPa to 410.sup.3 MPa, followed by wiping off the surface of the coating film at a speed of 80 times/min to 120 times/min and 20,000 repetitions thereof for a wiping direction length of 150 mm, a difference (an absolute value of a difference) between the static friction coefficients of the coating film before and after the testing is not greater than 0.1.
Ultrasonic CT device
The ultrasonic CT device includes: a first water tank configured such that an object is inserted therein, the first water tank being filled with a medium through which an ultrasonic wave passes; a ring array that irradiates an ultrasonic wave to the object and detects an ultrasonic wave reflected by the object while moving on an outer surface of the first water tank; and a signal processing unit that generates a tomographic image of the object based on a signal obtained by the ring array. The ultrasonic CT device further includes: a second water tank that houses the first water tank and the ring array; and a lid having a hole or a notch which is provided on a side of the object in the second water tank and which drains the medium.
Modular cable organization system
An assembly for supporting and retracting machine cables, thereby protecting operational components attached to machine cables. A cable organization system includes at least one modular cable management module fixed to a mounting plate that allows mounting of the cable organization system to a machine or other surface. The system has clamps which secure machine cables. The clamps are supported on top of pivoting guide tubes. The cable management modules contain retraction systems which retract the machine cable clamps from an extended position. By utilizing retracting cable clamps on pivoting guide tubes, the system allows the use of operational components attached to secured machine cables, and organizes the machine cables, so that the machine cables do not extend out into the floor around the machine. The system redirects pulling force on the machine cables, so that operational components do not get pulled onto the floor if a passerby catches on a machine cable.
ULTRASOUND PROBE
An ultrasound probe 11 includes a housing 12 having a transducer array accommodation portion 14 and a battery storage portion 13B, a transducer array accommodated in the transducer array accommodation portion 14, and a battery 21 stored in the battery storage portion 13B. The housing 12 has an attachable and detachable battery cover 17 that covers the battery storage portion 13B, a nameplate 22 is disposed on an inside or an outside of the battery storage portion 13B with respect to the battery cover 17 in a visible manner, and a waterproof structure for restraining water from entering the nameplate 22 is provided.

Devices and Methods for Ultrasound Monitoring
Exemplary embodiments provide systems and methods for portable medical ultrasound imaging. Preferred embodiments utilize a hand portable, battery powered system having a display and a user interface operative to control imaging and display operations. A keyboard control panel can be used alone or in combination with touchscreen controls to actuate a graphical user interface. The system includes a transducer assembly to image, measure and monitor a condition of a patient
Ultrasonic scanning apparatus
The present disclosure is directed to a precision ultrasound scanner for imaging, for example, the prostate in a way that produces a superior image of the prostate while removing the iatrogenic risk and patient discomfort associated with other methods of providing an ultrasound image of the prostate. The present disclosure describes an apparatus and method for forming a high precision image of the prostate from outside the patient's body wherein the resolution in sufficient to image, for example, cancerous lesions on the surface of the prostate. To achieve such images, coded excitation, tissue harmonic imaging, advanced transducers operating in the 10 MHz to 40 MHz range is used to achieve a useable signal-to-noise reflection while being able to position the imaging transducer as close as possible to the prostate without risk or discomfort to the patient.
ROTATIONAL INTRAVASCULAR ULTRASOUND PROBE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A rotational intravascular ultrasound probe for insertion into a vasculature and a method of manufacturing the same. The rotational intravascular ultrasound probe comprises an elongate catheter having a flexible body and an elongate transducer shaft disposed within the flexible body. The transducer shaft comprises a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, a drive shaft extending from the proximal end portion to the distal end portion, an ultrasonic transducer disposed near the distal end portion for obtaining a circumferential image through rotation, and a transducer housing molded to the drive shaft and the ultrasonic transducer.
