Automatic load mover
A device is disclosed for controlling a vehicle. The method includes monitoring received input from one or more proximity sensor, approximating a user's lateral and longitudinal positions behind the vehicle based upon the monitoring, and controlling the vehicle based upon the approximate lateral and longitudinal positions of the user with respect to the vehicle to continuously re-center the vehicle with respect to the user.
Interfacing wheelchairs with wheeled apparatuses
Devices described in this disclosure can interconnect a wheelchair with another wheeled apparatus. For example, this document describes interfacing devices that releasably receive the front wheels of a wheelchair and the rear wheels of another wheeled apparatus in such a way that a user of the wheelchair can conveniently maneuver the wheeled apparatus in conjunction with the operation of the wheelchair.
Devices and Mobility Assistance and Infusion Management
Provided are mobility assistance devices, particularly useful in medical settings where a patient ambulation is desired but the patient remains connected to one or many medical components. The system comprises a mast connected to a base, wherein the mast is angled with respect to the base and from which any number of medical components is supported. The device geometry and connections ensure the device is extremely stable and tip-resistant. Also provided are oxygen tank holders to reliably and conveniently hold oxygen tanks and power management systems that reliably provide electrical power without impacting device performance or mobility. The device is deployable to permit conversion between a compact storage configuration and a stable deployed configuration.

Mobility device with double cargo bin stack
Systems and methods for a multi-function mobility device to provide cargo container transport are provided. A multi-function mobility device includes a frame configurable between a plurality of configurations. The frame includes a plurality of individually controllable wheeled leg members configured to traverse uneven terrain. The mobility device is configured to transform the frame into a cargo transport configuration that accepts two stacks of cargo bins locked together. The mobility device is also configured to transform the frame into a rideable configuration that accepts a person.
Mobility platform for a shopping cart
A mobility platform is disclosed for a shopping cart. The mobility platform comprises a platform having an upper surface, a lower surface, a front edge, a rear edge, a primary side and a secondary side. A connector is secured to the platform. The lower surface of the platform abuts the cart handle and the connector engages the cart handle for defining a platform lock and terminating displacement of the platform relative to the shopping cart. A deformable layer is coupled to the upper surface of the platform for cushioning contact between the platform and the individual. The deformable layer engages the individual for defining a cart crutch. The cart crutch assists the individual by transferring weight of the individual to the cart and improving the balance of the individual while in contact with the deformable layer.
INFANT CARRIER TRANSPORT
Infant carriers are stably supported and transported by being positioned on a frame set on wheels. The frame may include an infant carrier holder with a floor with a ramp and sidewalls. The infant carrier holder may be integral with the frame or may be mounted to a mounting device that can be adjusted for mounting angle or height. A handle is provided to the frame at a position that is suitable for a person in a wheelchair to grasp the frame and move the transport. A handle suitable for a standing person to grasp the frame may optionally be provided. The transport permits a person that may have difficulty carrying or transporting an infant carrier to more easily transport the infant carrier in a standing or a seated position, the latter as may be the case with a wheelchair occupant. The transport may be fastened to the wheelchair.
CART ADAPTED FOR CONNECTION TO A WHEELCHAIR
A cart for connecting or attaching to a wheelchair is provided to assist a wheelchair user to more easily collect and move items, such as groceries. In certain embodiments the cart is further defined as a shopping cart.
