Shopping cart security system
The shopping cart security system is configured for use with a hand propelled vehicle known as a shopping cart. The shopping cart security system is a wheeled structure that allows the hand propelled vehicle to roll over a supporting surface. The shopping cart security system: a) determines the GPS coordinates of the shopping cart security system; b) compares the GPS coordinates of the shopping cart security system with a previously determined set of GPS coordinates that determine an operating perimeter for the shopping cart security system; and, c) disables the rotation of the wheeled structure that forms the shopping cart security system when the shopping cart security system is determined to be outside of the region bounded by the previously determined operating perimeter.
Shopping cart, positioning system and method, and electronic equipment
The present disclosure provides a positioning system, a positioning method, a shopping cart and an electronic equipment. The system includes an image acquisition device and a processing device. The image acquisition device is configured to acquire image information about a shopping cart, and the processing device is configured to process the image information so as to acquire identification information of the shopping cart, determine a location area of the shopping cart in an image according to the identification information, and determine location information of the shopping cart according to location information of the image acquisition device and the location area of the shopping cart in the image.
Automated purchasing systems and methods
Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems, methods, and products comprises a server for enabling automatic shopping. The server may associate a shopping cart with a customer's electronic user device. The server may monitor the locations of the electronic user device. Based on the customer's location, the server may identify the shelves and items the customer has visited. When an item is lifted from the shelf, at least one weight sensor on the shelf may detect the weight change. The server may receive a notification comprising an amount of weight change from the weight sensor on the shelf. When the customer places the item into his/her shopping cart, the weight sensor on the shopping cart may detect the weight addition. If the weight change and weight addition match, the analytic server may determine that the item picked up from the shelf is placed within the customer's shopping cart.
SMART ORCHARD HARVESTING CART WITH ANALYTICS
An orchard harvesting cart with a receptacle, a position determining system, a load sensor, and at least one camera. As a plurality of harvested fruit items are collected and placed within a receptacle of the harvesting cart, image data from at least one camera is processed to evaluate at least one characteristic of the fruit items within the field of view of the camera including, for example, determining whether a harvested fruit item was ready for harvesting. The orchard harvesting cart also includes a position determining system and a load cell allowing the cart to monitor and detect when new fruit items are added to the receptacle and to correlate information determined by image analysis with geospatial locations in the orchard.
Physical shopping chart-to-mobile device associations
In some implementations, a system for providing and managing associations between mobile computing device and physical shopping carts used in retail stores includes a physical shopping cart configured to transport physical goods around a store. The physical shopping cart includes a product detection system that is programmed to detect products that are placed in the physical shopping cart, a wireless transceiver to wirelessly communicate with other devices, and a cart identifier that uniquely identifies the physical shopping cart. The system further includes a mobile computing device that is programmed (i) to obtain the cart identifier for the shopping cart, (ii) to establish an association with the physical shopping cart using the cart identifier, and (iii) once the association between the physical shopping cart and the mobile computing device has been established, to output a user interface that provides a real-time summary of the products in the physical shopping cart.
MOBILITY DEVICE WITH CARGO BIN STACK
Embodiments herein are directed to a mobility device. The mobility device includes a frame, a pair of foot plates, and a base. The frame has a pair of side rails. The pair of foot plates are pivotally attached to the pair of side rails. Each of the pair of foot plates have a transport surface. The base has an upper surface and an opposite lower surface. The lower surface of the base includes at least one receiving cavity that corresponds to a shape of the pair of foot plates. The base is positioned on the transport surface to receive the pair of foot plates within the at least one receiving cavity and is configured to receive a plurality of cargo containers on the upper surface.
MOBILITY DEVICE WITH DOUBLE CARGO BIN STACK
Systems and methods for a multi-function mobility device to provide cargo container transport are provided. A multi-function mobility device includes a frame configurable between a plurality of configurations. The frame includes a plurality of individually controllable wheeled leg members configured to traverse uneven terrain. The mobility device is configured to transform the frame into a cargo transport configuration that accepts two stacks of cargo bins locked together. The mobility device is also configured to transform the frame into a rideable configuration that accepts a person.
Transport trolley
The invention relates to a stackable transport trolley, in particular a stackable shopping trolley, comprising a chassis and a basket; the chassis includes a support frame and a frame of rods which is arranged on the support frame, the frame of rods supporting the basket.
STORE DELIVERY VISION SYSTEM
A pallet sled includes a pair of tines extending forward from a base. A camera is mounted on the pallet sled and is configured to record images, such as video, as the pallet sled brings pallets of items from a truck into a store. At least one processor is used to analyze the images from the pallet sled. The images are used to determine inventory levels in the store, conditions of the store, conditions of the pathways of the pallet sled. An accelerometer on the pallet sled detects hard braking and accidents.
Mobile registration terminal and method for registering an age-restricted commodity
A mobile registration terminal operable by a customer in a store includes a memory, a display, a scanner through which a commodity sold at the store or a medium storing clerk information about a clerk of the store is scanned, and a processor. The processor is configured to, when a commodity is scanned through the scanner, determine whether the commodity is an age-restricted commodity, upon determining that the commodity is not an age-restricted commodity, register the commodity, and upon determining that the commodity is an age-restricted commodity, control the display to display a screen through which an age of the customer is verified by a clerk of the store, and upon receipt of an input of clerk information about a clerk through the scanner, store the clerk information in the memory for checkout of the commodity without further verification of the age of the customer.
