Ultrasound image devices, systems, and methods are provided. An ultrasound imaging system comprising a processor circuit configured to receive, from an ultrasound transducer array, a plurality of images of a patient body at different imaging planes; determine a first imaging plane based on a first image of the plurality of images by applying a first predictive network, wherein a second image of the plurality of images is based on the first imaging plane, and wherein the second image includes an imaging view of at least one of an anatomy of the patient body or a medical device within the anatomy; apply a second predictive network to the second image to generate segmentation data; and output, to a display, a displayed image including an indication of a first portion of the at least one of the anatomy or the medical device based on the segmentation data.
Ultrasound imaging system and method for providing feedback regarding acquisition quality
A method and ultrasound imaging system includes generating a cine including a plurality of cardiac views based on the cardiac ultrasound data, segmenting a plurality of cardiac chambers from each of the plurality of cardiac images, and automatically determining a cardiac chamber area for each of the plurality of cardiac chambers. The method and ultrasound imaging system includes displaying the cine on a display device and displaying a plurality of single trace curves on the display device at the same time as the cine to provide feedback regarding an acquisition quality of the cine, wherein each of the single trace curves represents the cardiac chamber area for a different one of the plurality of cardiac chambers over the plurality of cardiac cycles.
Non-Metallic Ultrasound-Detectable Markers
Markers (e.g., treatment site markers, biopsy site markers) are composed of a non-metallic material having a composition and/or other features or characteristics such that the markers will generate twinkling artifacts when imaged with ultrasound. In this way, the composition of the markers enables their detection and localization using ultrasound. The markers are generally composed of non-metallic materials that enhance the twinkling artifact.
Ultrasound processing unit and method, and imaging system
The invention provides an ultrasound processing unit. A controller (18) of the unit is adapted to receive ultrasound data of an anatomical region, for example of the heart. The controller processes the ultrasound data over a period of time to monitor and detect whether alignment of a particular anatomical feature (34) represented in the data relative to a field of view (36) of the transducer unit is changing over time. In the event that the alignment is changing, the controller generates an output signal for communicating this to a user, allowing a user to be alerted at an early stage to likelihood of misalignment and loss of imaging or measurement capability.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ESTABLISHING A COMMUNICATION SESSION FOR LIVE REVIEW OF ULTRASOUND SCANNING
An application running in a mobile device displays an ultrasound image obtained by a connected ultrasound scanner. A button is displayed on the device, which, when activated, automatically connects the device to a remote reviewer in a virtual videoconferencing room, without the operator of the scanner needing to input user credentials. Upon activating the button, or otherwise triggering the request for a review, pre-stored login credentials are automatically retrieved and used for connecting the operator to the room. The remote reviewer may be connected to the room upon accepting the request for review, without having to input user credentials, which are pre-stored and automatically retrieved.
Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and method of controlling ultrasound diagnostic apparatus
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes an ultrasound probe, a reference image holding unit that holds an ultrasound image acquired by fixing a position of the ultrasound probe as a reference image, a movement vector calculation unit that calculates a movement vector between two ultrasound images, a movement vector integration unit that integrates the movement vector from a time when the reference image is held to a current time, a deformed image generation unit that generates a deformed image in which the current ultrasound image is moved and changed to a time when the reference image is held based on an integration result, a tomographic plane determination unit that compares the deformed image with the reference image to determine whether tomographic planes of the current ultrasound image and the reference image are the same as each other, and a determination result notification unit that notifies a user of a determination result.
UNIVERSAL ULTRASOUND DEVICE AND RELATED APPARATUS AND METHODS
A universal ultrasound device having an ultrasound probe includes a semiconductor die; a plurality of ultrasonic transducers integrated on the semiconductor die, the plurality of ultrasonic transducers configured to operate a first mode associated with a first frequency range and a second mode associated with a second frequency range, wherein the first frequency range is at least partially non-overlapping with the second frequency range; and control circuitry configured to: control the plurality of ultrasonic transducers to generate and/or detect ultrasound signals having frequencies in the first frequency range, in response to receiving an indication to operate the ultrasound probe in the first mode; and control the plurality of ultrasonic transducers to generate and/or detect ultrasound signals having frequencies in the second frequency range, in response to receiving an indication to operate the ultrasound probe in the second mode.
Method and system for ultrasound imaging multiple anatomical zones
A method and ultrasound imaging system for performing an ultrasound examination. The method and system includes entering a workflow and displaying a plurality of graphical icons positioned on a graphical model. The method and system includes selecting a first anatomical zone, acquiring a first image, and saving and associating the first image with the first anatomical zone. The method and system includes saving and associating a first clinical finding with the first anatomical zone. The method and system includes selecting a second anatomical zone, acquiring a second image, and saving and associating the second image with the second anatomical zone. The method and system includes saving and associating a second clinical finding with the second anatomical zone. The method and system include displaying an examination overview including the first image, the first clinical finding, the second image, and the second clinical finding.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR VIEWING CONTRAST-ENHANCED ULTRASOUND IMAGES AND DYNAMIC IMAGES
Disclosed are methods and apparatus for viewing a contrast-enhanced ultrasound image and a dynamic data. The method comprises: receiving a first operation, for setting a first viewing range by a first browsing step length that is multiple frames; in response to the first operation, positioning the image data to a viewing neighborhood containing the first viewing range; receiving a second operation, on the view neighborhood by a second browsing step length that is a single frame; in response to the second operation, determining a current image frame corresponding to when the second operation is performed in the viewing neighborhood, and further positioning the image data to an adjacent frame of the current image frame to the user to view frame by frame. As such, doctors are helped to accurately locate desired image frames to significantly improve browsing efficiency with convenient operation and high user-friendliness to save time and reduce workload.
