Ultrasound Imaging System
Disclosed herein is an ultrasound imaging system having an ultrasound probe, one or more sensors and a feedback system all in communication with a console. The ultrasound probe includes an ultrasound transducer array configured to capture one or more ultrasound images of a target area. The one or more sensors are coupled to the ultrasound probe and to detect and track a magnetic signature of a needle in three-dimensional space within the target area. The feedback system is configured to provide two or more types of feedback to a user, including feedback related to each of identifying and distinguishing the target vessel from the other anatomical targets, tracking the needle along an optimal needle trajectory, or confirming the needle has accessed the target vessel. The console is configured to activate the feedback system, determine the target vessel, and determine an optimal needle trajectory to access the target vessel.
INTRAVASCULAR IMAGING PROCEDURE-SPECIFIC WORKFLOW GUIDANCE AND ASSOCIATED DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems, devices, and methods for providing procedure-specific workflow guidance are provided. The workflow guidance may include providing selectable options on a display device to a user including a selectable option to select a target vessel and a prompt to move an intravascular imaging device within the selected target vessel. Imaging data is received from the intravascular imaging device within the selected target vessel. The workflow guidance may be used to identify an area of interest within the selected target vessel and automatically display vessel measurements corresponding with the area of interest on the display device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VASCULAR IMAGE CO-REGISTRATION
This disclosure provides methods for vascular imaging co-registration and using the co-registered imaging data in guiding live fluoroscopy. Extravascular imaging data includes an extravascular contrast image showing the portion of the blood vessel with contrast showing a visualized anatomical landmark while intravascular imaging data is obtained during a translation procedure that includes one or more intravascular images showing a detected anatomical landmark. The starting location and the ending location of the imaging element on the extravascular imaging data is marked, and the predicted location of the detected anatomical landmark on the extravascular imaging data is marked. The predicted location of the detected anatomical landmark is then aligned with the visualized anatomical landmark.
Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and method of controlling ultrasound diagnostic apparatus
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes an ultrasound probe, a reference image holding unit that holds an ultrasound image acquired by fixing the position of the ultrasound probe as a reference image, a movement vector calculation unit that calculates a movement vector between two ultrasound images, a movement vector integration unit that integrates the movement vectors from the time when the reference image is held until the current time, a deformed image generation unit that generates a deformed image in which the reference image is moved and changed on the basis of an integration result, a tomographic plane determination unit that compares the deformed image with the current ultrasound image, to determine whether or not tomographic planes of the reference image and the current ultrasound image are the same as each other, and a determination result notification unit that notifies a user of a determination result.
Ultrasound diagnosis apparatus and controlling method
An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes: a scan controlling unit that exercises control to perform a first scanning process by transmitting an ultrasound wave in a first direction and a second scanning process by transmitting an ultrasound wave in each of a plurality of directions; an image generating unit that generates a first ultrasound image and second ultrasound images from the first and the second scanning processes, respectively; an image generation controlling unit that has a needle image generated, based on an analysis result on the brightness distribution of each member of a group of images based on the first ultrasound image and the second ultrasound images or an analysis result on the brightness distribution of each of the second ultrasound images; an image synthesizing unit that generates a synthesized image from the first ultrasound image and the needle image; and a display controlling unit that displays the synthesized image.
Augmented reality interface for assisting a user to operate an ultrasound device
Aspects of the technology described herein relate to techniques for guiding an operator to use an ultrasound device. Thereby, operators with little or no experience operating ultrasound devices may capture medically relevant ultrasound images and/or interpret the contents of the obtained ultrasound images. For example, some of the techniques disclosed herein may be used to identify a particular anatomical view of a subject to image with an ultrasound device, guide an operator of the ultrasound device to capture an ultrasound image of the subject that contains the particular anatomical view, and/or analyze the captured ultrasound image to identify medical information about the subject.
Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and body mark display method
According to one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to acquire a current position information of an ultrasonic probe in three-dimensional space. The processing circuitry is further configured to switch from a body mark indicating one body part to a body mark indicating the other body part, when a body mark indicating one body part of a pair of left and right body parts is displayed, and when the ultrasonic probe is positioned at a position farther than a predetermined distance from a midpoint of the pair of left and right body parts toward the other body part.
Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and method for controlling ultrasound diagnostic apparatus
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes an image memory that stores ultrasound images of a plurality of frames a display unit that displays an ultrasound image of the selected frame selected by a user from the plurality of frames, a measurement unit that performs measurement for a measurement target part from the ultrasound image, a determination unit that determines whether the measurement has succeeded or failed, and a display switching unit that displays a measurement result in the selected frame on the display unit in a case in which measurement for the selected frame has succeeded and displays an ultrasound image of at least one peripheral frame different from the selected frame among the plurality of frames and a measurement result in the peripheral frame on the display unit in a case in which the measurement for the selected frame has failed.
Guiding system and guiding method for ultrasound scanning operation
A guiding system and a guiding method for ultrasound scanning operation are provided. The guiding system includes a handheld guiding device, a display device, an ultrasound scanning device, a prompting device, and a control host. When the handheld guiding device generates a first physical motion, the control host detects the first physical motion and generates navigation prompting information accordingly. The prompting device is suitable for presenting the navigation prompting information to guide the ultrasound scanning device to move to generate a second physical motion. The control host captures an ultrasound image via the ultrasound scanning device and sends the ultrasound image to the display device at a guiding end for display.
