Modular fish scale sled
A portable sled for transporting cargo in outdoor environments comprises overlapping High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheets arranged in a fish-scale configuration. The design features a structural aluminum body with eye bolts at the front and nylon straps for securing cargo. The sled's fish-scale assembly reduces drag, optimizes weight distribution, and minimizes snagging. Heat-treated HDPE sheets 101 maintain a curved shape when assembled but flatten for storage. The sled incorporates high-visibility colors for safety and is buoyant for water-based operations. Its modular design allows for easy assembly and disassembly in the field, making it highly portable and versatile for various outdoor scenarios.
TRANSPORT SLED
A transport sled that is configured to receive and retain items such as but not limited to hunting gear, camping equipment and wild game within an interior cavity thereof. The transport sled includes a body having a bottom portion and a top portion wherein the top portion is hingedly secured to the bottom portion. The bottom portion is concave in form having an outer surface configured to slidably traverse across a snow covered surface. The top portion is hexagonal dome shaped forming an interior cavity. The top portion includes storage compartments operable to receive and retain items proximate thereto. The body includes stationary members movably coupled to the rear end of the body. The stationary members move between a first position and a second position wherein in the second position the teeth members of the stationary members engage the snow covered surface to inhibit movement of the transport sled.
PASSIVE SLED MODULES, CAMP SYSTEMS, AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
A camp system has: a plurality of sleds spaced from one another about a ground surface; and a tarpaulin secured in a deployed position between the plurality of sleds and defining an enclosed interior camping area. A method of use includes: arranging a plurality of sleds at a camp site; and deploying a tarpaulin to or over the plurality of sleds to form an enclosed interior camping area between the plurality of sleds. A passive sled has: a hollow tub base; a camper housing with side walls and a roof mounted over the hollow tub base and defining an enclosed interior sleeping area with a bed within the interior sleeping area; and a tow mount at a front end of the passive sled.
Icehouse Floor Sled Device
An icehouse floor sled device is provided. The device is comprised of a corrosion-resistant frame that may receive an icehouse. The device incorporates features such as runners for smooth movement on snow or ice, a foldable design with locking hinges for compact storage, and a hitch adaptable to various towing vehicles. A polycarbonate floor provides a stable surface, with customizable openings for ice augers that can be sealed securely with threaded lids. The device includes dedicated receiving areas for safely securing equipment, such as molded recesses for propane canisters and vertically aligned posts with cushioned grips for ice augers. Fasteners and vibration-dampening mounts ensure stability during transport, while modular and adjustable components offer user-friendly customization.
LAYOVER FIXTURE
A layover fixture for transitioning an industrial vehicle between an upright position and a laid-over position includes a frame that supports the industrial vehicle in the laid-over position on a floor surface, wherein the frame defines a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction transverse to the longitudinal direction. The fixture further includes a heal structure that is coupled to the frame and includes a curved surface for gripping the floor surface while the layover fixture is being used to transition the industrial vehicle between the upright position and the laid-over position. An adjustment mechanism is associated with the heal structure, wherein the adjustment mechanism is for adjusting a position of the heal structure relative to the frame in the longitudinal direction of the frame.
