Disclosed are hinges having specially-cut sections of steel angle iron that force a solid stop point in the open or closed positions. In some embodiments, the stops may limit the hinges to open no more than 90 degrees. In other embodiments the stops may limit the hinges to open no more than 180 degrees. The hinges provide stability to any structure they are used with.

A braking mechanism for a hand truck or dolly that, when installed on the hand truck, slows the movement of the hand truck when the hand truck is tilted rearwardly. The more the hand truck is tilted rearwardly, the greater the braking force applied by the braking mechanism against the wheels.

A modular configurable mobile transport apparatus with adjustable folding legs. A modular configurable mobile transport apparatus. The apparatus includes a first roller tip handle facing backwards for grasping the apparatus from behind providing horizontal stability for the apparatus and allowing the apparatus to be rolled on the first roller tip handle, a configurable backwards facing securing and storing portion for securing and storing one or more objects of varying widths to the back surface of the apparatus, a configurable backwards facing securing and storing portion for securing and storing one or more objects of varying widths to the front surface of the apparatus and a second roller tip handle facing forward for providing vertical stability for the apparatus and allowing the apparatus to be rolled on the second roller tip handle. A foot lever assist mechanism permits transport dollies to be more heavily loaded, saving the worker additional trips to deliver the entire supply. The lever assist is preferably secured to the axle using at least one boss. An auxiliary feature of this lever assist is the provision of a telescoping ladder-like extender for supporting beverage kegs. A toe grab allows the workman to tilt the stack of cases off of the hand truck's support platform and pull the bottom of the hand truck from beneath the load. Brakes are also provided to resist the hand truck's tendency to move rearwardly when tilting is attempted.

A transport jig includes: a frame member; and a support section that is installed on the frame member and that supports a plurality of elongated members. The elongated members are each entirely housed inside the frame member in a lengthwise direction and the support section supports the plurality of elongated members in parallel with one another in one direction.

Apparatus and methods for transporting a marine outboard engine include securing a marine outboard engine to an engine support cart having a pair of rear wheels and a pair of front wheels, wheeling the engine support cart into a cage assembly, and mounting a removable dolly assembly to the cage assembly. The dolly assembly includes a floor-engaging wheel. The marine outboard engine transportation apparatus with the marine outboard engine secured within is balanced on the pair of rear wheels and the floor-engaging wheel when the cage assembly is tilted backwards.

Wheelbarrow auxiliary or modular attachments that can include auxiliary storage devices, transport/stability pins, lids/covers, seats, stabilizers/struts, other storage/support devices, auxiliary power (outlets, charges, etc.), batteries, cupholders, tub extensions/baskets, device holders, attachment holders, counterweights, stabilizer wheels, quick connection/release mechanisms, etc. In various embodiments, one or more modular attachments or devices can be selectively added or attached to a wheelbarrow as needed. In some embodiments, the modular attachments or devices can be included with the wheelbarrow from the onset. An outboard motor support and transport system including a support cart having a support frame member with a first side substantially perpendicular to a second side and a third side inclined to the first and second side, a handle member coupled to a first end of the first side of the support frame, a first pivot member coupled to a second end of the first side of the support frame, and a second pivot member formed between the second and third sides of the support frame and a support rack member having a storage cavity with an opening at a first end, wherein the first pivot member of the support cart configured to transport the support cart and the support rack member.

A cart generally includes a body, a wheel assembly, first and second handles, and a scoop. The body defines an interior usable for holding materials. The body includes a forward portion and a rearward portion. The wheel assembly includes at least one axle and first and second wheels. Each of the first and second handles includes a handle portion to allow a user to move the cart and a leg portion for contacting a support surface. The scoop is rotatable relative to the body between a plurality of positions including at least a forward position and a rearward position. In the forward position, the scoop is adjacent the forward portion of the body, whereby the scoop increases carrying capacity of the cart. In the rearward position, the scoop is disposed at least partially over and/or adjacent the rearward portion of the body.

A cart is disclosed for carrying a gas bottle. The cart includes a wheeled frame and a bottle support platform. The support platform is configured to pivot between a loading position in which a gas bottle may be loaded and/or unloaded from the bottle support platform and a cradle position in which the gas bottle and the bottle support platform are elevated. A bottle rest may support the bottle when the bottle support platform is in the cradle position. A bottle support spine may also, or alternatively, support the bottle during transportation and act as a lever for pivoting the bottle support platform between the loading position and the cradle position.
