INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire, based on an output from a detection device that can detect a body movement of a user who receives care assistance, body movement information including information related to a sleep state of the user; a storing unit configured to store information in which a response content performed by a skilled worker to the user has been associated with first body movement information serving as the time series body movement information; and a processing unit configured to perform processing of presenting, when having acquired a request including second body movement information serving as the time series body movement information, similar information including a similarity between the second body movement information and the first body movement information, and the response content associated with the first body movement information.
Disposable hygienic article with means for diagnostic testing
A disposable, wearable article can be used for collecting a sample and performing urinalysis. The article incorporates a test port feature to simplify this function. The test port has a resealable cover that can be used to selectively expose an aperture through the backsheet of the disposable article. The test port is used to position test devices, such as urine test strips to urine collected in the disposable article.
SALIVA TESTING SYSTEM
A method for using saliva to measure at least one substance or physiological parameter of a human or animal subject may involve inserting a first end of a sensor into a handheld saliva testing device. The method may also involve receiving saliva from the subject on a second end of the sensor, moving the saliva from the second end of the sensor to the first end, and processing the saliva with the handheld saliva testing device to provide initial saliva data related to the at least one substance or physiological parameter of the subject. In some embodiments, the sensor remains inserted in the handheld device while the subject deposits saliva on the opposite, free end of the sensor.
AN ON-DIAPER BODY FLUID SCREENING DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An on-diaper body fluid screening device (100), comprising a stack of the following sheets: a surface sheet (110) permeable to body fluid, a collection sheet (120) impervious to body fluid, a testing sheet (130), which is body fluid absorbent and provided with colorimetric assay reaction pads (131), and which is provided with a body fluid barrier network (132) forming body fluid channels (134) between an inlet section (135) and the colorimetric assay reaction pads (131), a protection sheet (140) impervious to body fluid, and a transparent readout sheet (150), through which the assay reaction pads (131) are visible. The protection sheet (140) comprises pad receiving openings (142). The collection sheet (120) comprises an inlet hole (125) which is arranged over the inlet section (135). A swelling component (702) is arranged in association with the inlet hole (125) and an inlet hole closing member (601).
RECTAL CLEANING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a rectal cleaning device and a method associated with the device. It consists of a unique wipe attached to the inside finger portion and/or palmar surface of a glove. The core component of the glove component, portion or part of the invention is nitrile, latex, vinyl or rubber, etc. However, the wipe component, portion or part is composed of a desired fiber. The wipe comes in wet and dry varieties. The modified glove with unique wipe (wet wipe) attached is placed on the dominant hand which is then followed by a wiping motion of the rectal area. The now soiled modified glove is removed from the hand by turning the glove inside out in the standard fashion and is appropriately discarded. A second modified glove can be employed as the first. Additionally, a third modified glove can also be applied as deemed necessary.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATED TO HUMAN NON-INVASIVE DRUG TESTING
A method for detecting a substance in a subject includes providing a polymer responsive to a change in property when exposed to the substance and a material that binds the substance to -9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or cannabis; contacting the polymer with a fluid or a breath from a subject; and detecting a presence of the substance in the subject by detecting a change in polymer property and comparing the change to predetermined values for THC or cannabis.
APPARATUS FOR MANUAL ACQUISITION OF A BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE AND USE THEREOF
A self-sampling apparatus for collection of a cellular sample, particularly a vaginal sample for detection of human papillomavirus and its use is disclosed. The apparatus has an evacuated sample container closed by a puncturable seal and a fluid sample chamber in fluid communication with the evacuated container via a needle assembly. A fluid sample is drawn into the evacuated sample container upon establishing fluid communication between the fluid sample chamber and the evacuated container.
Irrigation and aspiration device and method
Irrigation and/or aspiration devices and methods may be configured to aspirate and irrigate alone, sequentially, or concurrently. The devices and methods may provide a base with a removable head, and adapted for partial or complete separation of the irrigation and aspiration functions. The devices and methods can be configured to aspirate and/or irrigate the nasal and sinus cavities. The devices and methods may be manually and/or automatically controlled. The devices and methods may include removable, and/or replaceable, and/or refillable, and easily cleanable reservoirs for aspirant and irrigant. The device head and/or aspirant reservoir may comprise a diagnostic device, i.e., test device and/or container after use of the devices and methods.
Rectal cleaning device
A modified glove includes a glove portion and a wipe portion. The wipe portion is attached to the inner or palm surface of the glove, and comes in wet and dry varieties. The wet variety contains water or mild cleaning agents or some combination thereof, and can be scented or unscented. An embodiment of the modified glove is a single modified glove, while another embodiment is multiple modified gloves, such as three modified gloves in one. One aspect of the modified glove is for cleaning the rectal area of an individual. Another aspect of the modified glove is for cleaning other areas of an individual.
