System and Method for Obtaining Clearance
A system and a method to obtain clearance is disclosed. The system includes user identification hardware configured to establish identity of the user. The system also includes a toilet configured to analyze a sample of excreta or sputum from the user, to thereby determine the status of the user with respect to a pre-determined condition. A processing module is configured to link the identity of the user with the status of the user. A communication module communicates information including the linked identity and status of the user to an authority. As such, the authority is provided the information required to grant or deny clearance to the user. Clearance may include allowing a user to use one or more forms of public transportation, be in places where large numbers of people congregate, participate in an athletic competition or other places or activities where the condition of the user may put themselves or others at risk.
System and method for driving condition detection and notification
A system for accident detection or detecting an unsafe driving condition in a vehicle including a device that measures and transmits at least one output signal; at least one remote device configured to receive, record, and/or display the at least one output signal from the device; a computing device configured to receive the at least one output signal from the device and display the at least one output signal in real-time; and a graphical user interface on the computing device that allows an emergency response professional to view and customize options for monitoring the at least one output signal, wherein the device, the at least one remote device, and the computing device are communicatively connected to each other via a communications network.
PORTABLE DRUG TESTING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A system for drug testing includes a collector configured to collect saliva, a processor configured to mate with the collector, and a detector. The collector comprises a mouthpiece, an elongate body, a vent to vent air from the body and a collection portion to collect saliva. The processor is configured to automatically extract a first sample of the saliva and a second sample of the saliva. The detector is configured to mate with the processor and to analyze the first sample to detect an amount of drug in the collected saliva.
Breathalyzer coaching and setup methodology
Methods of coaching a user of a breathalyzer to make use of correct blowing technique when blowing into the breathalyzer are provided. Methods of setting up a breathalyzer such that it adjusts a breathalyzer's parameters to account for jurisdictional variations in blood and/or breath alcohol limits and other standards are also provided.
Multi-stage oral-fluid testing device
In an embodiment, the claimed invention includes an oral-fluid collection and testing device that is simple to operate. The device includes a body assembly and a cap assembly that are easy to handle by a user. A collection sponge projects from an end of the body assembly for absorbing the oral fluid of a donor, A cap assembly is easily aligned with the body assembly by way of visual alignment indicators on both the body and the cap. Once the cap is aligned with the body, a user simply pushes the cap onto the ‘body, which causes a first stage fluid, flow. More specifically, a buffer fluid is released from the cap and mixes with the oral fluid collected on the sponge—After waiting a short time* the cap is rotated, then pushed again, causing a second-stage fluid flow in which the sponge is compressed such that the buffer fluid/oral fluid exits the sponge and flows toward a. pair of test strips. A user can then easily view the test results by observing a visual indication, such as a color change of the test strips through a viewing window.
Device and method for the mobile analysis of excrement in a toilet
A device for determining physiological data through analysis of human excrement in a toilet using at least one indicator and/or sensor, and a method for determining physiological data by analysis of human excrement in a toilet by measurement of urine and/or stool values, in order to achieve maximally universal use of the device, including in a wide variety of toilet designs, with reasonable design effort and manageable costs. A measurement system, in which an indicator or sensor can be brought into a measurement position, in which sufficient contact with the urine or stool to be examined occurs via an arm for each measurement, wherein the indicator or sensor is/are designed as (an) independent unit(s), and by a corresponding method in which a plurality of previously determined values are measured and then processed further and forwarded as applicable.
Driver focus analyzer
A driver focus analyzer including one or more sensors configured to measure a distance of a driver or computing device from the one or more sensors, processing circuitry configured to compare the distance to a predetermined distance threshold, determine if the distance exceeds the predetermined distance threshold, and cause an alert in response to at least determining that the distance exceeds the predetermined threshold, and an alert output device configured to generate an audio or visual output in response to the alert.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSDERMAL ALCOHOL MONITORING
A method for monitoring intoxication of a user, the method including: receiving a set of samples from a body region of a user; generating an intoxication metric based on the set of samples; and providing a notification to the user based on the intoxication metric. The method can additionally or alternatively include: modifying operation of the transdermal alcohol sensing device based on the intoxication metric; determining contextual data; maintaining a hydration level of the transdermal alcohol sensing device; and any other suitable processes. A system for monitoring intoxication of a user including a sensor and a housing. The system can additionally or alternatively include any or all of: an inlet, a fastener, an electronics subsystem, a user device, and/or any other suitable component.
Saliva Test Apparatus
An ancillary saliva testing apparatus for the presence of a selected substance utilizing an internet connected electronic device with a camera for third party review, the electronic device also having electronic communication to the apparatus, the apparatus has an enclosure that accommodates an insertable saliva test element assembly that includes a test element casing that secures a saliva test strip within the casing. The enclosure includes color sensing circuitry for the saliva test strip and communication circuitry from the color sensing circuitry to the electronic device. Also, an user interface application in on the electronic device to document a user inserting the casing into the enclosure with the camera verifying the user identity via facial recognition, also the saliva test strip that includes both an identification code and change of state test result color code on the saliva test strip based on the user wetting the test strip with saliva.
Systems and methods for detecting alcohol, acetone, and carbon monoxide in breath
A breath collection device can detect changes associated with pathogenesis of a disease, such as COVID-19, including biomarkers of immune response for respiratory symptoms, central nervous system injury, and/or peripheral nervous system injury in user breath and/or odor. The breath collection device can detect concentrations of alcohol, acetone, and carbon monoxide in user breath samples. A breath sample can be received in an internal bladder of the device for sensor analysis. Concentrations of alcohol, acetone, and carbon monoxide can be determined by calibrated calculation. A detection method for alcohol, acetone, and carbon monoxide can provide a non-invasive, rapid, and selective detection of gases in a variety of applications in virus detection as well as agricultural and homeland security.
