Baling machine including a pre-baling chamber rotative packer/stuffer
A baling machine includes a pre-baling chamber and a rotative packer/stuffer including at least one retractable and extendable tine including at least one stuffer tine supported on at least a first reciprocable support. The at least one stuffer tine sequentially penetrates, moves in, and retracts from the pre-baling chamber when activated by at least one stuffer activator. The packer-stuffer includes at last one sensor that senses a vector or pseudovector quantity acting on at least one rotative component. The baling machine also includes at least one processor for estimating from the sensed quantity the amount of plant matter in the pre-baling chamber or a related variable, comparing this to a threshold corresponding to desired filling of the pre-baling chamber, and causing the stuffer activator to initiate stuffing when the estimated plant matter or related variable attains or exceeds the threshold.

DUAL AUGER BALER
A baler including a frame a feed assembly coupled to the frame, an auger housing coupled to the frame and in operable communication with the feed assembly, the auger housing having an exterior wall including a first open end, a second open end opposite the first open end, and defining a volume therein. The baler also including a first auger at least partially positioned within the volume and rotatable with respect to the auger housing about a first axis, and a second auger at least partially positioned within the volume and rotatable with respect to the auger housing about a second axis.

AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH PLUNGER REPOSITION DURING STARTUP MODE
An agricultural harvesting machine for crop material may include a crank arm connected to a rotational power source, a plunger having an extended position which is located further rearward in a compression chamber than a retracted position, and a connecting link connected between the plunger and the crank arm, with one of the connecting link and the crank arm having a variable length. The agricultural harvesting machine may include a startup mode and a run mode. The movement of the plunger can be decoupled from the movement of the crank arm at the beginning of the startup mode. The plunger can move to a predetermined position during the startup mode. The movement of the plunger can be coupled to the movement of the crank arm during the run mode.

TWO STAGE KNIFE FLOOR
A harvesting machine may include a main frame, a rotor assembly rotatably coupled to the main frame, a top frame movably attached to the main frame forming a passageway for crop material between the top frame and the rotor assembly, a bottom frame movably attached to the top frame, a plurality of knives movably attached to the top and bottom frames, and an actuator operatively connected to one of the top frame and the bottom frames. The plurality of knives extends through slots in the top frame. The top and bottom frames and the plurality of knives are in a raised position when the actuator is in a first position. The top and bottom frames and the plurality of knives are in a lowered position when the actuator is in a second position, which enlarges the passageway and partially retracts the knives through the slots in the top frame.
Agricultural baler
In a high capacity baling apparatus concurrently formed first formed bales and second formed bales are discharged from respective bale forming regions to a discharge chute arrangement. The disclosed discharge chute arrangement comprises a first bale support surface, a second bale support surface adjacent to the first bale support surface and disposed at an angle to the first bale support surface, an impeller located at a downstream end of the second bale support surface and a displacement apparatus adapted to move between a first position at one side of the first bale support surface and a second position.
