INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
[Solution] An information processing device, an information processing system, and an information processing method which can determine an estrus period of individual livestock while viewing a transition of the state quantity showing a characteristic change in the estrus period of livestock, and execute contact with a veterinarian and accumulation of information of the estrus period by an operation of causing the estrus period of livestock to be notified to a veterinarian when the estrus period has arrived.
[Solution] The information processing device includes: a display information control unit configured to cause a transition of a state quantity showing a characteristic change in an estrus period of livestock to be displayed on a display unit of a breeder-side information terminal; and a notification control unit configured to execute, in accordance with a notification request to cause estrus of the livestock to be notified to a veterinarian-side information terminal on a basis of an operation of the breeder-side information terminal, both notification processing to the veterinarian-side information terminal and registration processing of registering time information indicating a time at which the notification request is made in a database as estrus history of the livestock.
Ovulation determination
The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for determining the fertility status of a female. The method comprises the steps of determining and recording a continuous series of temperature data points relating to a body temperature of the female, identifying if the series of temperature data points comprises at least one pre-determined feature in the series of temperature data points and, if a pre-determined feature has been identified, determining a point in time of ovulation for the series of temperatures based on a pre-determined relation of the pre-determined feature and ovulation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING TEMPERATURE NADIR OF A FEMALE
An electronic system for determining a time of the temperature nadir of a female human during the menstrual cycle comprises a wearable device (1) that includes a first sensor system (104), configured to determine a temperature of the female human, and a second sensor system (101, 102, 103), configured to determine one or more further physiological parameters of the female human. The electronic system further comprises a processor (13, 30, 40), configured to determine a detected starting point of the fertility phase of the female human, using the one or more further physiological parameters of the female human. The processor (13, 30, 40) is further configured to detect the temperature nadir as a temporary decrease in the temperature, using the detected starting point of the fertility phase of the female human. The time of the temperature nadir is used as an indicator of the time of ovulation and peak oestrogen level.
OPTICAL MONITORING OF FACIAL CHARACTERISTICS DURING THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE OF A WOMAN
In an embodiment, an apparatus (12) is presented that predicts a fertility window comprising a period of increased fecundability for a woman based on optical monitoring of facial features.
Earring
An earring configured for insertion in an artificially-created cavity in a wearer's ear, such ear tissue cavity being bounded by a first hole in the ear tissue and a second hole opposite the first hole. The earring includes an earring post dimensioned to be inserted through at least the first hole of the ear tissue cavity. A first insulating component is associated with the earring post and is configured to at least partially enclose the first hole of the ear tissue cavity. A second insulating component is associated with the earring post and is configured to at least partially enclose the second hole, whereby, the first and second insulating components serve to improve maintenance of the temperature inside the ear tissue cavity by assisting in controlling heat loss from such cavity.
System and Method for Intrauterine Insemination
A kit and method for intrauterine insemination is provided. The kit includes a cervical plug configured to receive an intrauterine insemination catheter and operable for preventing a semen sample from leaking from a cervical canal into a vaginal cavity of the patient due to reflux caused by contractions of the uterus, and a positioning tool operable to hold the cervical plug in place while the intrauterine insemination catheter is removed. The positioning tool is engageable with but not attached to the cervical plug and is capable of being removed from the cervical plug, leaving the cervical plug in place.
METHODS FOR INCREASING GENETIC PROGRESS IN A LINE OR BREED OF SWINE USING SEX-SELECTED SPERM CELLS
The invention relates to methods of increasing the genetic progress of a line, breed or herd of swine through the use of sex-selected sperm cells in artificial insemination techniques. The invention also encompasses methods of artificially inseminating a swine via deep intrauterine catheter or via a laparoscopic procedure, which allow the use of reduced doses of sex-selected sperm cells.
System and method to monitor and assist individual's sleep
A sleep assist system to monitor and assist the user's sleep, comprising: a bedside device adapted to be positioned near the user's bed, the bedside device optionally comprising a loudspeaker, a light source, a microphone, a light sensor, a temperature sensor, a control unit, an air quality sensor, a display unit, a user interface. The system further comprises a first sensing unit positioned in the user's bed comprising one or more sensors adapted to sense at least pressure and changes in pressure exerted by the user lying in the bed; an additional sensor device to be in contact with the user's body, and to be coupled to the bedside device; the system is configured to correlate the data obtained from both the first sensing unit and the additional sensor device.
Implantable estrus detection devices, systems, and methods
Devices, systems, and methods for detecting estrus in subjects are provided. Devices include a housing configured for intravaginal/intrauterine deployment and retention and a sensor disposed in or on the housing, and are configured to use condition information sensed by the sensor to determine an estrus condition of the subject. Methods include deploying a device in the subject, sensing the condition information, and determining an estrus condition using the condition information. Systems include a device configured to communicate with a base station and/or with other implanted devices, which are located within a reception radius thereof, regarding the determined estrus condition.
TESTING DEVICE, FOR BODY FLUID ANALYSIS, USING NATURAL LIGHT
A testing device for body fluid analysis includes: a sheet unit having a sheet of which a first surface receives body fluid of a user to be deposited thereon; a contact unit having a magnifying lens group for magnifying the body fluid deposited on the sheet, the contact unit being provided with a first side at which the magnifying lens group is placed to face the first surface of the sheet and being provided with a second side at which a guide adhering to a photographing means obtaining an image of the body fluid magnified by the magnifying lens group or coming into contact with around an eye of the user is placed; and a light source unit placed to face a second surface of the sheet of the sheet unit in a direction facing the contact unit with the sheet unit in between.
