Continuous glucose monitoring device
The sensor includes a working electrode having a first wire with a first flat surface and an electrochemical element on the first flat surface. A reference electrode includes a second wire with a second flat surface and a counter electrode includes a third wire with a third flat surface. The first wire is a first sensor wire for the working electrode, the second wire is a second sensor wire for the reference electrode and the third wire is a third sensor wire for the counter electrode in a plurality of sensor wires. The second flat surface and the third flat surface face toward each other.
System and apparatus for fertility and hormonal cycle awareness
A system and apparatus is disclosed for indicating a window of fertility based on the fertility awareness method (FAM).
Compact testing device
A lateral flow testing device includes a main body adapted to support an element for collecting a sample. The element is supported at a distal end of the testing device and is in fluid communication with one or more testing components having an analyte detection zone for detecting one or more analytes present in said sample. The testing components produce visual information related to said sample, thereby informing the user of the outcome of a test. The device incorporates a handle reconfigurable with respect to said main body such that in a first handle configuration, the handle hinders sight of the visual information to improve privacy of the test, and in a second handle configuration, the handle facilitates the collection of said sample by increasing a distance between a proximal end of the testing device and the element.
Vaginal device and method for measuring fertility-related parameter
A vaginal device configured to be inserted in a vagina of a user, the vaginal device comprising: a body comprising at least two electrodes configured to measure a fertility-related parameter of the user; a power source configured to provide power to the device; and an electrical system operably connected to the power source, the electrical system operably connected to one or more of the electrodes, the electrical system configured to switch one or more of the electrodes between charging and measuring functions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTRACEPTION
A method for determining for a female a time interval for using contraception is disclosed, the method comprising receiving in a processor (11), from a sensor system (22) of a wearable device (2) of the female, physiological data of the female, generating cycle phase probabilities of the female being in one or more cycle phases of her menstrual cycle on a given day, by use of a machine learning model and the physiological data, determining the time interval for using contraception using the physiological data, the cycle phase probabilities, and pre-determined cycle phase probability thresholds, and generating a message for the female comprising the time interval for using contraception.
BODY FLUID TESTER
The present invention relates to a body fluid tester and, more specifically, to a body fluid tester wherein body fluid is collected on a test sheet, the test sheet is mounted in a carrier, and the carrier can be easily separated from a body of the tester. A body fluid tester according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a carrier including a sheet insertion hole into which a test sheet, on which body fluid is collected, is inserted in a first horizontal direction; an outer case including a carrier hole which is formed through the front surface thereof and extends, by a predetermined length, in a second horizontal direction intersecting with the first horizontal direction and into which the carrier is inserted, and having an open lower surface; an inner case inserted upwards through the lower surface of the outer case to be coupled to same so as to be positioned on an inner surface of the outer case, and including a case observation hole formed through the bottom surface thereof; and a lens unit positioned between the carrier and the case observation hole, wherein the carrier can be inserted into the carrier hole of the outer case or be detached from the carrier hole.
SERVICE METHOD FOR MENSTRUAL CYCLE NOTIFICATION AND PRODUCT RECOMMENDATION THROUGH INTERACTIVE INTERFACE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
A service method for menstrual cycle notification and product recommendation through an interactive interface and a service providing apparatus using the same includes: (1) obtaining a user's menstrual information, (2) specifying at least one of a menstrual cycle or the number of sensible menstruation days, (3) providing notification before a set notification date of a next monthly period, and (4) providing a recommended-product list. Even when a user does not know or does not enter her own menstrual information, the user can be informed of statistically predicted menstrual information and recommended with a product customized according to the user's menstrual cycle and menstruation quantity.
BODY TEMPERATURE DIAGNOSTICS
The disclosure relates to a method and a system for determining the fertility status of a female and/or the status of a biomarker in a mammal or human being. A method the method comprises determining, for a plurality of first time intervals, a continuous series of temperature data points relating to a body temperature. The method further comprises determining, in the series of data points, for each one of one of the plurality of first time intervals, a difference between a temperature maximum and a temperature minimum to obtain a plurality of temperature amplitudes. A series of temperature amplitudes is determined from the plurality of temperature amplitudes and determining if a first portion of the series of temperature amplitudes varies from a second portion of the series of temperature amplitudes, the variation indicating a change in the status of the biomarker.
FIXED OPERATION TIME FREQUENCY SWEEPS FOR AN ANALYTE SENSOR
Sensors that detect an analyte via spectroscopic techniques using non-optical frequencies such as in the radio or microwave frequency range of the electromagnetic spectrum or optical frequencies in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum. An analyte sensor described herein includes a detector array having at least one transmit element and at least one receive element. The transmit element and the receive element can be antennas or light emitting elements such as light emitting diodes. The sensor is controlled to implement first and second frequency sweeps and the frequency sweeps have at least one overlapping range of frequencies where the operation times are the same between the first and second frequency sweeps.
CYCLE-BASED SLEEP COACHING
Physiological parameters such as respiratory rate and/or heart rate variability can be measured over time for a user and correlated to physiological and/or hormonal cycles such as the menstrual cycle. By determining the phase of such a cycle in this manner, an automatic coach for the user can recommend phase-specific adjustments to activities such as sleep and exercise.
