BODILY EMISSION ANALYSIS
Apparatus and methods are described for use with feces of a subject that are disposed within a toilet bowl, and an output device. One or more light sensors are configured to receive light from the toilet bowl, while the feces are disposed within the toilet bowl. A computer processor analyzes the received light, and, in response thereto, detects a currently-occurring inflammatory bowel disease episode, and/or a predicted upcoming inflammatory bowel disease episode. The computer processor generates an output on the output device, at least partially in response thereto. Other applications are also described.
Toilet with a Multi Function Bidet Wand
A toilet comprising a seat for supporting a user during use of the toilet, a bowl for catching excreta from the user, a retractable bidet wand adapted to extend after excretion has concluded, a bidet head located on the end of the bidet wand, adapted to spray water on the exposed surface of the user, an image sensor on the bidet wand, adapted to capture images of the exposed surfaces of the user, and a processor to analyze the images to detect health issues.
Modular point-of-care devices, systems, and uses thereof
The present invention provides devices and systems for use at the point of care. The methods devices of the invention are directed toward automatic detection of analytes in a bodily fluid. The components of the device are modular to allow for flexibility and robustness of use with the disclosed methods for a variety of medical applications.
APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING AND PACKAGING FECES
This application relates to configured to a feces collecting and packaging apparatus for performing automated operations of collecting and packaging the entire excrements. In one aspect, a bag supply machine of the apparatus dispenses a plastic bag with an upper opening directed into an inner space of a main body when a subject is on a seat of the main body. Following excretion, a sealing machine of the apparatus closes the upper opening of the plastic bag when the entire stools are completely contained. A collection machine of the apparatus secures the sealed plastic bag from the inner space of the main body.
BODILY SAMPLE COLLECTION DEVICE
A device for the collection of a bodily sample from an anatomical cavity, the device includes an impermeable sheath arranged and configured to receive a user's finger, the sheath comprising a distal end and a proximal end; an absorbent body positioned at the distal end of the sheath; and a hermetically closable pad positioned at the proximal end of the sheath.
Waste Detection System
Disclosed herein is a waste detection system. The waste detection system includes a pad configured to acquire a fluid sample excreted from a patient. The pad includes one or more layers and at least one microfluidic channel configured to receive therein the fluid sample. The waste detection system further includes an intake manifold in fluid communication with the at least one microfluidic channel, the intake manifold configured to receive the fluid sample, the intake manifold having one or more reagents configured to detect the presence of waste within the fluid sample excreted from the patient.

The components of the device are modular to allow for flexibility and robustness of use with the disclosed methods for a variety of medical applications.
SAMPLE COLLECTING DEVICE
A sample collecting device is provided. The sample collecting device includes a frame, a collect part and a control part. The collect part is disposed in the frame and is provided with a collecting cavity having a collecting port, and the collect part is used to make a sample flow into the collecting cavity from the collecting port. The control part is disposed in the frame, used to make a collecting rod put into a reagent bottle be pulled out and inserted into the collecting cavity to thereby collect the sample, and used to make the collecting rod with the sample be pulled out from the collecting cavity and put back into the reagent bottle. The collecting of sample without manual intervention is realized, effectiveness and consistency of the collected samples are ensured, and the labor cost is reduced.
Compositions for Fecal Floral Transplantation and Methods for Making and Using Them and Devices for Delivering Them
In alternative embodiments, the invention provides compositions, e.g., formulations, used for gastric, gastrointestinal and/or colonic treatments or lavage, e.g., orthostatic lavage, e.g., for inducing the purgation (e.g., cleansing) of a gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including a colon; and methods for making and using them. In alternative embodiments, compositions and methods of the invention are used for the stabilization, amelioration, treatment and/or prevention of constipation, for the treatment of abdominal pain, particularly non-specific abdominal pain, and diarrhea, including diarrhea caused by a drug side effect, a psychological condition, a disease or a condition such as Crohn's Disease, a poison, a toxin or an infection, e.g., a toxin-mediated travelers diarrhea, or C. difficile or the pseudo-membranous colitis associated with this infection. In alternative embodiments, the invention provides pharmaceuticals and products (articles) of manufacture for delivering these compositions and formulations to an individual, e.g., a human or an animal. The invention also provides devices for delivering a fecal material to a patient.
PET FOOD RECOMMENDING DEVICE AND PET FOOD RECOMMENDING METHOD, SUPPLEMENT RECOMMENDING DEVICE AND SUPPLEMENT RECOMMENDING METHOD, AND INTESTINAL AGE CALCULATION FORMULA DETERMINING METHOD AND INTESTINAL AGE CALCULATION METHOD
A pet food recommending device and a pet food recommending method for recommending a food suitable for a pet are provided.
A pet food recommending device is provided, the device including a recommending means that recommends a food suitable for a pet, based on a result of a stool inspection of the pet and attribute information on the pet.
