Power steering apparatus
The present invention provides a power steering apparatus capable of realizing a reduction in an axial dimension of the apparatus. A resolver 16, which detects a rotational position of a motor rotor 13, is provided between a motor element 15 and a steering housing 6 in a direction of an x axis. A bolt 19, which fixes a motor housing 17 to the steering housing 6, is provided so as to overlap the resolver 16 in the direction of the x axis radially outside the resolver 16.

STEERABLE SYSTEM FOR ASPHALT MILLING ATTACHMENT
A steering mechanism and guidance system for a milling attachment device provides steering capability without impeding cutting depth control. The steering mechanism has at least one wheel that is rotated by an actuating mechanism such as an extending cylinder, synchronized actuators, or the like. The steering mechanism may be integrated with depth control by using a parallelogrammic structure with pivot points to assist in the depth control or may operate independent of and without impeding depth control.

Power supply unit, combination of a power supply unit of this kind with a further functional unit, and heavy road vehicle
A power supply unit, which supplies hydraulic drive motors of a heavy goods vehicle with hydraulic fluid, includes a frame with first connecting elements for operationally fixed mechanical connection to the heavy goods vehicle and second connecting elements for operationally fixed mechanical connection to a further functional unit, a hydraulic pump, which is attached to the frame, can be driven by an assigned electric motor and during operation feeds hydraulic fluid to drive the hydraulic drive motors, and a battery pack, which is attached to the frame and supplies the electric motor with electrical drive power. The hydraulic pump and electric motor are configured in such a way that the hydraulic pump can be operated as a hydraulic motor and the electric motor can be operated as an electric generator.

POWER STEERING APPARATUS
An apparatus for use in turning steerable vehicle wheels includes first and second pumps driven by a vehicle engine to supply fluid under pressure to a power steering motor assembly connected with the vehicle wheels. The first pump is sized to provide a fluid flow required by the power steering motor assembly to effect a first vehicle maneuver when the engine speed is at or above a first predetermined speed. A valve directs fluid flow from the second pump to the power steering motor assembly, which when combined with the fluid flow of the first pump is sufficient for the power steering assembly to effect a second vehicle maneuver when the engine speed is at or above the first predetermined speed. A greater fluid flow is required to effect the second vehicle maneuver than to effect the first vehicle maneuver.
Integrated clutch steering system
An integrated clutch steering mechanism for an autonomous vehicle (AV) can include a steering clutch coupled to a steering column of the AV, and an AV steering motor coupled to the steering clutch. The AV steering motor can apply torque to the steering column via the steering clutch to control steering of the AV. When a predetermined amount of torque is exceeded on the steering column, the steering clutch slips to enable manual steering of the AV.
