SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING TOWING STEERING ASSISTANCE DURING IN-FLIGHT CHARGING OF ELECTRIFIED VEHICLES
Systems and methods for coordinating and providing steering assistance between towing vehicles and towed vehicles during towing events. The towing steering assistance may be provided by the towed vehicle in the form of assistive steering maneuvers to assist the towing vehicle with turning during the towing event. The assistive steering maneuvers may be provided to account for turning maneuvers, steering compensation, and stability events of the coupled vehicles during the towing events, for example.

A steer-by-wire steering system, including: a pair of wheel steering devices respectively provided for right and left wheels of a vehicle, each of the pair of wheel steering devices including an actuator and configured to steer a corresponding one of the right and left wheels independently of the other of the right and left wheels; and a controller configured to control the pair of wheel steering devices such that steering amounts of the respective right and left wheels are equal to respective amounts based on a steering request, wherein the controller executes a steering-amount stabilizing control to reduce a change in the steering amounts in an external-force-dependent steering situation in which the right and left wheels are steered or likely to be steered by an external force applied to the right and left wheels.
DRIVING UNIT OF STEERING APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a driving unit of a steering apparatus configured to provide an auxiliary torque of a steering apparatus and including a driving housing having an installation region formed therein, and the driving unit includes a worm shaft disposed in the installation region and having a worm gear formed therein, a first bearing rotatably supporting one side of the worm shaft, a damper penetrating and supporting one side of the worm shaft supported by the first bearing, and a stopper penetrating and supporting one side of the worm shaft passing through the damper, one end of the stopper being spaced apart from the damper so that a movement of the damper is limited in an axial direction of the worm shaft.
Electronic module
An electronic module includes a power supply wiring line disposed on a substrate along a first side and connected to a power supply terminal, a ground wiring line disposed on the substrate along a second side and connected to a ground terminal, and first to third half bridges each having a high-side switch and a low-side switch connected in series between the power supply wiring line and the ground wiring line. Connection points of the high-side switches and the low-side switches are connected to first to third motor terminals and also connected in parallel to one another. The first motor terminal, the second motor terminal, and the third motor terminal are disposed between the power supply terminal and the ground terminal.
Torque ripple compensation in motor control systems
According to one or more embodiments, a motor control system that provides torque ripple compensation includes a current regulator that receives a first current command corresponding to an input torque command. The current regulator further generates a first voltage command based on the first current command using a first transformation matrix. The current regulator further receives a second current command corresponding to a torque ripple to be compensated. The current regulator further generates a second voltage command based on the second current command using a second transformation matrix. The current regulator further computes a final voltage command using the first voltage command and the second current command, the final voltage command being applied to a motor.
Electric drive control device
According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric drive control device of the present invention, which is for controlling an electric motor that generates a drive force, includes a first electronic control unit disposed on a side opposite to a drive shaft of the electric motor among both sides of a motor housing in which the electric motor is accommodated in a direction of the drive shaft and configured to control the electric motor, and a second electronic control unit disposed opposite to the first electronic control unit in the direction of the drive shaft and configured to control the electric motor.
Dither noise management in electric power steering systems
Technical solutions are described for attenuating dither noise in a steering system. An example method includes computing a torque command based on an input torque, and generating a current command corresponding to the torque command. Further, the method includes determining an adjustment parameter based on a plurality of steering system signals. Further, the method includes reducing dither noise of the steering system by dynamically modifying a controller parameter value using the adjustment parameter. Further, the method includes generating a voltage command using the current command and the modified controller parameter value, the voltage command used to generate torque by a motor.
Steering system with damping dependent scaling for wheel imbalance induced vibration reduction
A method for damping dependent scaling for reducing wheel imbalance in a steering system includes determining roadwheel speed energy using a roadwheel speed signal and determining that the roadwheel speed energy is greater than a predetermined energy threshold, and in response: adjusting the roadwheel speed signal; and computing a wheel imbalance reduction command using the adjusted roadwheel speed signal. The method also includes determining that the roadwheel speed energy is not greater than the predetermined energy threshold, and in response computing the wheel imbalance reduction command using the roadwheel speed signal. The method also includes computing a motor torque command using the wheel imbalance reduction command, the motor torque command used to generate a corresponding amount of torque at a handwheel.
Electric driver device
An electric driver device provides a partial redundancy system that is at least partially redundant, or a full redundancy system. The electric driver device has a plurality of circuit systems. The electric driver device includes, in at least a part of the electric circuit, a common circuit extending over at least two of a plurality of circuit systems. The common circuit includes a power supply and/or a connection line that complements signals. At least one of the power supply circuit, an interface circuit, a power supply cutoff circuit, and a connector is not separated and independent from each other for each redundant circuit system.
Steering axle for an industrial truck, and industrial truck having the steering axle
A steering axle for steering the wheels on the axle of a four-wheel forklift truck by a hydraulic or electric steering device. The steering axle has an axle beam with first and second wheel carriers. The wheel carriers are arranged pivotably on the axle beam. A steering rod is connected, in articulated fashion, to the two wheel carriers in order to transmit steering movements. A steering actuator produces the steering movement and has an actuator housing. The actuator housing has at least one guide section for the passage of the steering rod through the actuator housing. The steering actuator has at least one sliding bearing device for the radial support of the steering rod on the at least one guide section.
