A releasing stopper for a container, the stopper including a first body configured to be directly coupled with the container and comprising a coupling element for allowing the removable fastening of the stopper on the container; a second body, axially movable with respect to the first body along a predefined axis of the stopper and cooperating with the first body for defining a reservoir at least temporarily insulated from the outer environment, a membrane or collapsible septum constituting at least a portion of the reservoir wall, openable and/or breakable for allowing the communication of the reservoir with the outer environment. The stopper includes a first closed configuration, wherein the reservoir is insulated from the outer environment, and a second open configuration, wherein the reservoir is in communication with the outer environment, and wherein the membrane or collapsible septum is opened by a perforation or opening element distinct from the stopper.

NON-CONTACT SAFETY RELAYING APPARATUS FOR TRANSFERRING OBJECT
20220333436 · 2022-10-20 ·

Proposed is a non-contact safety relaying apparatus for transferring an object, the apparatus including: an apparatus body including, a main body formed to have an internal space through which first and second independent spaces communicate, a horizontal partition extending horizontally at a height of a center of the main body, with at least one relaying hole being pierced therethrough, an upper partition extending upward from a first side of the horizontal partition and forming a first relaying space, a lower partition extending downward from a second side thereof and forming a second relaying space, a first door mounted on the main body in such a manner as to open and close the first relaying space, and a second door mounted on the main body in such a manner as to open and close the second relaying space; and an opening and closing unit opening and closing the relaying hole.

BIOPSY DEVICE
20220330926 · 2022-10-20 ·

Apparatuses and methods for biopsying body vessels having small lumen, such as Fallopian tubes. In particular, described herein are apparatuses (e.g., systems and devices) and methods that include an outer member having a stepped distal end region, a flexible inner shaft, and a biopsy collector, and methods of using them.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING
20230072011 · 2023-03-09 · ·

An apparatus includes a housing, a first cavity, a volumetric pool having a limited internal volume and a squeezing mechanism. The first cavity supports a first strip having a first end portion for receiving a fluid substrate and a second end portion. The squeezing mechanism is disposed corresponding to at least a portion of a second width (W) of the first cavity in a lateral direction (Z). When the first strip is drawn along a longitudinal direction (X) such that the first end portion moves into the first cavity, the first end portion is squeezed by the squeezing mechanism to squeeze out the fluid substrate to be transferred to the volumetric pool. The fluid substrate excess to the limited internal volume of the volumetric pool overflows from the volumetric pool to retain a desired volume.

MEDICAL, DENTAL, OR VETERINARY DEVICE WITH USE INDICATOR
20230070622 · 2023-03-09 ·

A medical, dental, or veterinary device with a use indicator includes a proximal end and a distal end configured to interact with a human or animal subject, the distal end including a use indication portion, wherein the use indication portion includes a reactive agent to react with a foreign substance to exhibit a visible change in appearance of the reactive agent to indicate to a veterinary, dental, or medical professional that the device had been previously used and must be sterilized or disposed.

ABSORPTIVE TIP BRUSH BIOPSY DEVICE, KIT AND METHOD
20230073028 · 2023-03-09 ·

A flexible coaxial tissue sampling device, comprising: a sheath; a displaceable wire within the sheath having a first end extending from a proximal end of the sheath and second end which extends, in a first state, from a distal end of the sheath, and in a second state, retracts into the distal end of the sheath; the second end of the displaceable wire comprising a cellular sampling structure and a porous absorptive material which are external to the sheath in the first state and internal in the second state. A tension on the first end of the displaceable wire at the proximal end of the sheath retracts the displaceable wire from the first state to the second state, along with the cellular sampling structure and the porous absorptive material. The porous absorptive material retains a fluid sample after retraction and protects against contact of the sample with other tissues.
